Tits and ass?
Having the last slice of pizza?
Finding that coin you dropped between the car seats last year?
The feel of clean boxers?
Finding that porn video you saw six years ago and have been searching for it ever since?
Having your wife tell you that she is gonna visit her mother and you don't have to go with her?

The funniest part is that even the best case scenario for this game is absolutely dire.

If BC starts putting updates out; by the sound of things they'll be at the level of week 1: larger(in terms of size, not content), buggy and with poor writting(50% due to him not being a very good writer and 50% due to whatever form of translation they settle on being less than ideal).
And that's before you take into account the fact that he(as per his own/Skummy's admission) hasn't really worked on his rendering abilities for over a year. Seeing as how the character models, posing and angles used felt dated and clunky back then... it's not gonna look pretty(figuratevly and literally).

Bad writting? But Skummy said he's some kind of Shakespeare!
Oh and it's only posing in an Illusion game, there is nothing to render.

Ren'Py plus Illusion game poses.
There is nothing easier and cheaper to make, bear that in mind every time you see a game like this and they deliver very slowly or the monthly updates are only a few scenes.

Just had a thought regarding the script/translation issues. There exists now bots that are quite sophisticated and can write in multiple languages. The most popular one is . Strictly speaking they don't allow anything NSFW but large enough portions of the script could be done using a technology like this (and it's pretty cheap to use at that). There's others around as well so maybe there's one that's would be better for this specific scenario but in general this one is by far the highest quality (so much so that there's a ton of news agencies, etc that use it). I guarantee that nearly everyone here will have at some point read an article/blog post/facebook post/whatever written by a bot like this without even realizing it.

Just to throw it in. I sometimes use for translations. The available languages are a bit limited, but they keep adding more.
The reason I like it: It's very good at understanding what is being said, so the translations are less literal, but closer to the meaning. They feel way more natural that way. There are errors of course, but I used it to translate entire articles from foreign languages and the results were pretty good. When I double check with German and English the results are great too.
I wonder how it would fair with text that has Japanese words sprinkled on top, but I'm positive. Again, afterwards the translations need to be touched up, but it saves so much work.
I used it mostly for French, Dutch and Russian to English or German.

Screenshots are not renders. Not in an imaging sense. Nothing the GPU/CPU renders into an Illusion game translates directly to the image with any higher fidelity than game settings.

Its no different than you pressing prtscn on your fav game. Anytime I see an author try to call illusion game screenshots renders I automatically get a feeling that the creator has an air or undeserved self-importance. And it really flies in the face of those who work in Daz and really put out the content despite how long rendering in that program takes.

I misunderstood how all the HS, Playhome etc. stuff works; my bad.

That also makes the situation exponentially worse.

For the sake of being a bit of prick, you aren't really saying anything new either, and are just throwing your frustrations into the pile like the rest of us. You are just acting as though you are above it all somehow. It's okay to vent your frustrations when you've been wronged. No need to act pretentious about it.

Personally I remember this being one of the first VNs I'd ever read/played and finding it scrolling the new posts on this site. I was a patreon contributor way back then for something like a year or a year and a half. If you tally up all those months I've put in more money than even ripoff AAA game studios ask for their games nowadays, I think I am perfectly entitled to complaining. I came back to this VN and just recently finally played through to the end of day 21 and more than anything I am just sad that nothing has happened in the 2 years that I wasn't paying attention to this one.

People should be called out for lying, especially when money is involved. Also the posts are fun to read, even skummy's :ROFLMAO:
I am quite a cunt :3

I mean it's definitely like less work, and you have easier access to setting things up quickly in comparison to using Daz etc and you also don't have 'render' times but I still gotta respect people that use HS2, Playhome etc cause placing things and moving them is so much more painful and tedious compared to Daz, blender, actual game engines, etc. I would be in a state of constant annoyance if I had to use it all the time lol, and from what I'm aware there isn't really any scene editing mods that try to bring it closer to that of blender etc, let alone bring basic viewport movement on par.

Oh, someone else acknowledged my compilation. Brings a tear to my eye. Wonder if we can get one of the mods to link the compilation on the front page to show people. That would be hilarious.
Since you made a compilation you should now go all in and extrapolate this post I found lol -- before anyone goes crazy I was merely checking when the last time Bluecat posted here since he frequents the forums a lot still, but hasn't posted since Jan 2021... anyway, this post was on the first page so I didn't hunt for it, it just stood out and seemed relevant.

Anyway, perhaps you can extrapolate this data into how long it would take to remake the whole game start to finish using his own data points to see if it would in fact of been faster than this merge lol. (Which doesn't take into account any speed improvements in familiarity or workflow etc since then)

[VN] - [Ren'Py] - Ecchi Sensei [Halloween Special] [BlueCat] | F95zone
GFX:
5-10 images in 1 hour
10 hours 50-100 images
Working 10-15 hours each day:

10 days 500 - 1500 images - Average = 1000 images
20 days 1000 - 3000 images - Average = 1500 images

Last Releases average image amount: 1600 images

Scripting and Dialogues:

100 lines / hour
1000 lines / 10 hours
10000 lines / 100 hours

Working 12-16 hours each day:
5-7 Days (in best case)

Last Releases average amount of lines: 8900

20 Days GFX + 6 (average) days scripting = 26 Days
+ 2 Days playtesting + 1 Day photoshop + an half day music + an half day for for building the release, uploading, writing patreon post, and publish it everywhere = 30 Days

I have no free days. I have no time to work on other things while working on the next release.
So no, there is no chance to release new updates and work on the merge.

But for all who believe the next merge (which will NOT be Week 2) also takes months. The answer is no.
We added tons of new features and started from the scratch with the first 3 ingame days.

Day 1-7 is fine after week 1 merge and there is no need to spent weeks to edit things. We surely change something. Typos, better design of the code, small improvements for no lag, etc.

But the next big merge (Which will be "Month 1" will definitely not take longer than an ordinary update.)
Also I absolutely love the confidence here that the merge wouldn't take longer than an ordinary update. This is art.

Would anybody actually recommend this game to a total newbie? Is it any good to get a person started in the VN world ;-)

PS: Not just the special, but the main game also?
Since you're asking the same question in many different game threads, I'd recommend just picking a game and playing it, or telling the 'total newbie' to play one that you have picked. How do we know what is going to fit your/their particular tastes?

Since my other post got deleted for being off topic. . . All hail Bluecat. . .Back to the post. Mate, if you want this extrapolated you are gonna have to find someone with the math skills that can do it. Mine, awful. Hopefully this one is not toooo off topic. All hail Bluecat.

Don't know what you're really on about, but it's piss easy to make different scenes, with different characters, in different clothes, at different places, with different angles and so on and so on. Only in a mere minutes mind you.
That is why the "studio" version of Illusion games, gets used so often in many cheap games.

Anyone got recommendations for similar games in terms of
SolValley School is one of my faves, and it's done. Once in a Lifetime is probably the best Honey Select game I have played.
Also, My New Family, Max's Life, A House in the Rift, Dark Magic, and Headmaster, all have lots of content and get regular updates. (y)
