VN Ren'Py Abandoned Ecchi Sensei [Day 22-23 Final] [BlueCat]

Hi guys! I'm willing to give this thing a try and it's damn huge.

Just for clarification, as the FAQ doesn't give this away and browsing several pages here don't either:
I download everything from day 1 to day 23 and unpack the good stuff into the same directory, then add the Dark-Patch and I have finally a full game?
Or do I have to install every week for itself with the Dark Patch to unpack in every directory and then port savegames back and forth?

Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Currently, each week is a standalone game. So grab the lightly compressed week 1 and the dark mind patch from the previous versions link at Lewdpatcher and play that week. You will create a save that will carry over at some point and I can't remember how that works.

Then, grab the week 2 files and unpack them in a different folder, do not overwrite the week 1 folder as it will just cause errors. Also the dark mind patch as above. Play that week and create the carryover save.

Grab the week 3 files, cryptically named day 20-21 instead of day 15 - 21, but it has the full week and the corresponding dark mind patch as above and put it in another new folder, not overwriting any of the existing files and play that week.

Finally, grab day 22-23 and the dark mind patch, no longer in the previous versions section of Lewdpatcher and install in another new folder and play the most recent release of the next 2 days.

Always match the name of the dark mind patch with the name of the full week download if you intend on having all the dark mind content. When you launch the game you will need to enable the dark mind patch and when done correctly, the opening splash image will change to reflect that.

Each is standalone with its own DM patch, save games should auto detect (mine did) between "games/Chapters/weeks" or w/e you wanna call them

Thank you ! And what about the saves ? Because everytime I launch a new week, there is no save stored. So I have to create a new one for each standalone week.

should've auto detected but if not just go into the /game folder and copy the save folder and paste it into the /game folder for the next week

Yeah, I won't mind some information about how to handle things in the original posts of several games here as it's not always the same way and you can only do some try and error until it may work...
I've speedread about the first 30-40 pages of this thread and then clicked around some more pages in between hoping for some lucky hit with a guide, but thankfully you guys are helping out, I highly appreciate that!

About the DM-Patches: I figured there is one for week one, one for week two and three for week three (I guess those three have to be transferred to the standalone week 3 all together?) and the final one for the newest episode...

So I'll try this now and I just hope it will work this way.

No just use the DM patch per game so DM patch week 1 final for game "week 1 final" for week 2 "days 8-14" only add the "days 8-14" Dm patch on lewdpatch click "show previous versions" and pick the right one thats matches up with the game version. so even in "week 3" you are only using the patch that goes with that version don't add the other patches

every "version/week" of the game is treated as a completely different game don't merge files ever or patches aside from copy/pasting save game to new version if it doesn't auto detect your saves

"he" is a "she" and i didnt confuse the game. There was a bathroom scene and i could have sworn they had sex there...however, maybe my brain tricked me after searching for the infos under 3 year old dust ^^
Whatever, its not like i care about penetration at all ^^

I found out why the Week2 game didn't detect my Week1 save :
I'm on Windows, and the default save folder of the Week1 game is in:
<C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Ecchi Sensei>
Whereas the default save folder of the Week2 game is in:
<C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Ecchi_Sensei>.
I don't know if it's normal or not (my Week1 and Week2 are DM patched)

Moreover, i got another folder :
<C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Ecchi Sensei 2019>

Anyone here could explain why there are 3 different folders ?

Not really, i always just copy the game\save folder and never had any problems with it...

every "version/week" of the game is treated as a completely different game don't merge files ever or patches aside from copy/pasting save game to new version if it doesn't auto detect your saves

Week 1 day 1-7
Week 2 day 8-14
Week 3 day 15-21

Regarding the DM-patches:
There is one for "week one final", another one for "day 8-14 final release", these two obviously match week one and two.
As for week 3 there is no version with day 15-21, there are three final versions "15-17 final", "18+19 final" and "20+21 final", but, as stated, no version that covers the whole week. Am I able to combine those three, extracting them in week 3 and go for it? Otherwise I will not be able to play, as there is nowhere a single file for week 3 listed...

oh no, week 3 is just wrongly/ badly named if you look at the name of "week 3" its actually named "EcchiSensei-D2021v1.0-FINAL" you want the Dm patch named "Day 20 + 21 Final"

Thanks man! That's something you can't know without explanation as it goes against everything that's written down and it's really not relatable from the files names... Guess I'll install week 3 again, I gladly didn't delete any of the zip-files.

So since Lain has been MIA i decided to try to make my own mod in her place, for week 2 (days 8 - 14) scene walkthrough

Ecchi Sensei Scene walkthrough/improvements + Route selection [Days 8-14]

Features:
Allows you to do both scenes at the pool
Allows you to view Tara's bathroom scene without consequences (game treats it like you never saw it)
Allows you to view Himikos Dom or sub route (without changing your current route)


This is my first attempt at modding if a expereinced coder happens to view the code or notices anything feel free to message me or post in my thread about improvements or tips


If i missed other scenes that could be missed please let me know.

don't think you can Lol there isn't really any routes either besides "yes sex with" and " no i don't want sex with"

the only route i know is with himiko and thats just dom/sub and that only just changes line of texts during scenes nothing else afaik

Ahhh, before the roof blowjob scene with Fuyu, the first sexual interaction with her IIRC, the game says: "Hint: There are many choices in the upcoming scenes with Fuyu. This is also the first time in the game in which you get to pick a "Character route". Almost every woman in the game has different character routes that you can take. Depending on the route you choose, different things will happen and the characters will act differently. You can switch between unlocked character routes in the database." and then if you're rough with her on the roof it says "you are now on Fuyu's corruption route"... I cant seem to find a database though, and you said that you only remember Himiko having a route... so is this just a lie from the game or...? and where is the database if it exists? do the two different routes with fuyu change anything? (corruption/the other one isnt named I dont think)
