No idea how the rules around this work but if they don't use a separate altered ruleset after a game gets tagged as abandoned once they really should. That being, reducing the time between updates to ensure the creator isn't just trying to scam people out of money. E.g if it took 2 years for an update, the next update should have to be out in 1 year before the abandon tag gets put back on. I'd personally go even further and make it like 3-6 months but that's just me..
You need to download all weeks, since it'll probably be another 2 years before the complete 1st month download.

Yep and I also know the mods will sometimes just slap one or another onto a game regardless. This game is going to be marked abandoned in two months according to the 18 months "rule".

True. It will be very hard for BC to regain the support he once had. He has a very bad reputation now, after the long hiatus and failing to fulfill his promises. And also the game just looks very outdated visually. It's really hard to compete with some of the new stuff coming out.
He is slowly losing patrons. Each month when it goes up again less people are re-subbing. I checked his subscribestar 5 months ago. It was 35. Now its 36. 5 months and gained only 1 person. Not good. Bluecat will never get to move to Japan.
