Kind of a bummer. This was the first game I played on f95, it got me into modern porn games, so I'll pour one out for this one. But in the end he kind of George RR Martin'd himself anyway. This thing had grown out-of-control. I don't know how he was ever going to knit this beast into a coherent story with an ending.
Bc says he is working on the month 1 merge still. Given they could have rewritten the code base 6 or more times already, I would consider this dead. Or simply alive enough to keep collecting money. Either way, don't expect an update any time soon.

Long time coming. And considering BC has spent more time getting paid not to work than he did to actually work, I'd say he got a pretty sweet deal.

I see people talking about that first month update. Just to put this into perspective; He started that First month merge update before he took his 2 year hiatus and well you can see how far he got. I'm guessing this last update/release was just to get people paying again. I have absolutely no faith that we will see anything from this other than another crappy holiday update just which I think he only makes those to he can pretend to be working on this. He may have had great ideas when he started this project years ago but at this point I think he's only doing the bare minimum to keep the money going into his account. How long as it been since the last game update? How much longer till we see another one? Could be another 2 years. I guess we will have to wait and see if he will ever take this project seriously again. I am not hopeful at this point.

Sad to see this abandoned now, it was a nice game. Interesting how the first girls that MC had actual consensual sex with was his daughters, and yeah that part german girl I think is actually his daughter from one of the girls he screwed in high school. Remember when he ran away from home there were several girls he was messing with and any of them could have been pregnant at the time he left.

It was a huge mistake to take a working, successfull VN and try to add sandbox elements on it. If they wanted a sandbox game, they should have done it with a new game, not with this one

This is not even to the point of adding new elements. This delay has supposedly been due to problems merging existing content.

The problem is with merging the new elements with the existing content.
They made the new content with the new elements, because the rewark was supposed to have them, and they have problems merging those new elements with the VN existing content
If they have never attempted to create sandbox elements, there would be nothing to merge

Well guys, its now December. If we take a look at our Handy Dandy notebo- cough- Calendar, we will see that its now the 2nd, 3rd in some places. Using our fingers and toes to help us count, we can see that its now 29 days until the end of the year.
Now, if Bluecat was telling the truth on October 30th:
Then this month will be celebrated with Eggnog, presents, family, and the merge.

Sandboxing? With they way this game as been developed? I say it will never happen, Just like the one month merge. If it does happen, with Blue Cats work ethic I see it being a grind fest. You know just giving us something to focus on with out actually adding to the story. That way he can sit back and collect money talking about how much play time he gave us. If I don't see that merge patch we have been waiting 2 1/2 years for by Christmas I'm going to have no choice but to conclude this great game turned into a scam.

Reminds me of the developer of Twisted World. It started out as a VN but turned into a sandbox. I can't remember if it was the last update or the one before but the developer was bragging that there was 6 hours of content. Problem was that 5 hours of that was grinding the same scenes over and over and over. . . . just to see actual content.
Do you really have to wait until Christmas? The only reason the merge was even started was that it was a poll and was voted for because Bluecat said it would be out by the end of 2020. Remember the poll in September 2021 that said if the character cards were left out it would be out by the end of 2021? Now. Now! We are nearing the end of 2022 and Bluecat is still saying that it'll be out by the end of the year. Meanwhile, no one has seen even one word about how much is done, how much is left, or even some posts showing off the merged weeks or the new phone working or anything at all. Do you really need more proof?

That person on discord should've instead asked if the month merge will be released this year, not completed cause for all we know it may already be done and just hasn't been released.

That is why devs make sandbox games. There are one or two exceptions like Oppai Odyssey or Desert Stalker where the game highlights where to go next to see the next new scene so you don't have to repeat anything, but 95% of the time devs go sandbox so they can create 50 to 100 images every 3-5 months and call it an update. It's basically a scam, and hugely annoying to play. Who has the time and patience to click all over and watch the same scenes over and over just to get a handful of new content?
Not me. There are much better games worth my time.
