Wasn't moving to Japan one his high-cost patreon goals and that it would allow him to be more inspired and work more on the game? Well I know he never hit that money goal but it sure as hell doesn't seem to have inspired him to work harder either has it. I'm curious how he even lives in Japan then since AFAIK it's a hard country to get a long term stay in let alone dual citizenship, I wonder what his real job is then?

Wouldn't surprise me if he never looked at my merge, though since he doesn't know programming he wouldn't even understand the extent to which it has been changed & fixed up anyway.

How he came to live in Japan. A Japanese dual citizen from the server helped him setting it all up and gave him the job if my memories have not failed me

When people dm me if they should stop their donation on Patreon or Subscribestar.adult... I say it is up to them if the feel they get their money's worth to them or not. if not then they should stop their donation

That always struck me as odd I have seen him active on other servers before though i did not know that he actively worked on those games. seems likely now that perhaps one of the main problems is motivation on Latecomers part which is very sad...
I can ask BlueCat what he knows but he never discussed other team members with me and I respect that

As for your programming skills... Renpy isn't hard. It's just Python since that's what the SDK is written from so renpy's language is extremely similar to that of Python and Python is one of the easiest programming languages to learn from what I know. I can attest to that much, having not known it before I looked at merging this game myself.

Its not about the hardness of Renpy though I can not say anything about it
my primary problem is the motivation to learn it and I simply never had a project were Renpy were an option
perhaps if I one day find something interesting to do with Renpy I will look into it but ... the time I have left i prefer to just ... enjoy my medical retirement

sadly if that is the case there is nothing that can be done I already made my peace with it that I may never see it so .... its not a big lose for me at least. But I feel sorry for the many others who wants it to be finished.

That's the overall feeling I get as well.
Although you raised a very good point on that discord; Where are the new renders? Where is the new script? You definitely don't need the app or game for that to at least show work was done in the background and is just waiting for merge.

We've seen nothing of new scenes or anything of that ilk.
Even the ones that came out in the last release were done around the same time as the start of the Month 1 merger as I do remember seeing them when I was a Tier 5 patron.

So we've basically had 3 years' worth of redirects.
Sure as fuck if someone had shown me that they had done a project of mine in a better way or had fixed glaring bugs, I would have swallowed my pride and accepted it. Would have used it as well after learning what the fixes were and that there were no breaks.

Anyways it is what it is. If people keep paying for nothing then that is their fault.

It's a shame, there were some interesting story lines, like it's possible that the only girls in school that MC has screwed were his daughters including another one that he didn't know about. Remember the guy was banging girls from his school when he was a teenager and the only one we know for sure he kept contact with was his sister. I think there were at least 4 other girls he was screwing back then so any of them he might have left pregnant. Wouldn't it be something if it turned out that all of them were left pregnant and had daughters in his present day class. Heck the guy's aleady knocked up the school princple and maybe some of the other adult woman, like the 7 connected to his school, and his wifes friends.

I know the game and yes Kasumi is in it. But BlueCat has nothing to do with it

Little Green Hill is the game, Marche is making it and whom is the developer of that game
Yes it got banned here for Rule 7 if I am not mistaken.

And If I remember right Marche and Dvnasty is the donators who added Kasumi to Ecchi Sensei along with Hanabi, And perhaps Yui. But I may be remember that wrong and Yui might be Tsuyan character

yeah he was very happy when he finally was able to move there
Though from what he told me he never used "Ecchi Sensei" money to finance it. he only used that money to pay his team and for buying programs and assets for the game.

IRL circumstance made the trip possible but I am not ... able to tell as they are pretty private conversations between him and me and while I do not mind airing out my own Dirty laundry this is something to personal for him
With the help of the user who gave him the job he had enough money to make the dream true

Major flaws I will say BlueCat has is his inability to communicate with people ( does not help that he is not compenent in english as well ) and I have time and time again tried to get him to at least try, he is the head of the project after all. its why Skummy tried to help him as well
And His pride but that might be because I have no pride myself

Beside me I think "Jimmy ジ" from the server and my self is the only one who reacted to it all and the only think I really have to say to it that Dukez is to be commended for the work he did
There is also Dukez reaction to Bluecats message and BlueCats half answer afterward if you want those i can or other can post it if you want it

As for the "Little Green Hill" Game
Yes Kasumi is in it from the newest release.
BlueCat is not part of the development Little Green Hill game
Marche is the Developer long side the team He has. And Kasumi is his / her character along side Hanabi with Dvnasty, both a T8 character used in as well Ecchi Sensei

The hubris here is astounding.
While technically correct that merging anything with software that is, or will be updated would be pointless as it won't work in the future.
However, considering the years that has lapsed with NOTHING, absolutely nothing done thus far, Bluecat lacks even the slightest speck of humility or gratefulness to someone "helping" and offering a positive stopgap until future development (which has yet to be proven that it's going forward).

My brain hurts from the fallacious argument and willful delusion displayed here.

Got a sever case of disillusion and Social phobia or anxiety from it, I think since he stopped even speaking to me in DMs
In the end not worth it... but Skummy thought he did the right thing at the time.

in the end there is No news except for a few "blips" in the Github notifications.
that goes for mods and testers as well we have heard nothing since the 22-23 release so there is nothing I can say about the development or how far it is ... if it is moving along

i mean dev man bad whatever but doing a merge separately isn't "helpful" anyway, as dev man has to do it anyway and they can't just use the fanwork for a wide variety of reasons.

but with the years waiting for nothing it was as breathe of fresh air at the time... my only fear of it was it encouraged patreons 0to continue support (and many still do, that money going to BC even though nothing has substantially happened in years as the renders for days 22-23 were images done before the "merge" started)

Horagen81 thanks for the info dump! It's nice to see the reactions and get some info about what happens in the discord, even though the reaction from BlueCat is very dissapointing.
The part about editing the RenPy core code was made before and sounds pretty implausible. The reason given back then to modify the RenPy code was weird and that one doesn't make it more plausible.
Translations redone? Why not extract them from the game.
But well, if there was a good effort then there would be more progress in the many years of working on it. I see why it is at is though, thanks to your insight.

Not sure if your "helpful" quote is in reference to my post saying it is, it's a matter of perspective.
I certainly didn't imply it was helpful to BlueCat, but to the players wanting to play the game in one go, instead of the confusion seen here with which part is what week etc.
IF the game ever gets back on track and the "official" merge happens then the fan made merge will be obsolete but until then this "helpful to the ones wanting to download only one file" is the way to go.
Hope this clarifies things.
