14 months since the Halloween release seems kind of crazy. More power to those patrons that have been sticking it out. Aware of the super merge, but jeeze hopefully they've been creating assets and writing good plots in that time.

I mean, what else are we going to talk about? Our other options are make the same complaints about the dev team that everyone has made since the first merge, or argue over best girl.

I think that Christmas Status Report was supposed to be them saying that missed the deadline, but it wasn't very clear. Disappointing.

That Status Report honestly should have been the largest and most important one of all year and it contained nothing we didn't already know, in fact it contained almost nothing at all. Disappointing is an understatement. I feel like an absolute fool for having supported BC.

I am starting to believe that this game will end up abandoned. It has been over a year since the game has been updated and they have lost half of the support they had on patreon and it just keeps dropping. It's reaching a point where, even if they release an update I don't think they will ever regain the support they once had.

You think in the wrong direction, they still have half of the support without delivering anything but excuses. Until it drops to 0 there is no actual need to work for it again. One reason why i only pay for completed games.

I mean there are games like milfy city where the dev doesn't deliver anything for a year and he doesn't really lose any support. So seeing a game like this actually losing its supporters is surprising.

I only believe in updates on this and similar sites. But i want to believe this game will be resurrected since it was too good. So i dont have a bleeding heart each time bc spills more excuses, but it annoys me.

I stopped supporting them because I can't afford paying for project that doesn't progress in any way.
I'm just greatly disappointed, none amount of explanation on discord or patreon doesn't seem sincere anymore... The only thing that could convince me otherwise is a drop of some huge content update, but sadly this doesn't seem to be the case.
And to think that on a roadmap released about 3 years ago end of 2021 was supposed to be when full game is released, full year of story... Or was it end of 2022? Does it still even matter? Even back then it sounded fishy... Oh, well...

The fact of the matter is, the longer Bluecat fucks around twiddling his thumbs the more paying supporters he will lose which has a direct correlation to a reduction in quality because he won't be able to pay whoever for the added effects he could before. I'm not sure where their peak was at but for example I'll assume the goal with added sound effects and 2d gfx artist was something he had previously but not anymore so that's a quality reduction right there.

There's no guarantee supports will come back after the merge is done, they may play wait and see since Bluecat will have to prove themselves again which means the immediate updates will likely be affected negatively in quality and I hope Bluecat isn't counting on it just going back to normal quickly.

I mean, could just stop talking all together I guess?, maybe if you let the forum die the people who support the dev will realize that nothings happening with the game and stop supporting it faster which would lead to the Dev team getting of there collective ass's and actually clearing up what's going on with real updates instead of vague pseudo updates that say alot without telling us anything. or start working on an actual update to the game and not a "month 1" collection that obviously isn't working.

well if you swing by their discord, the general channel is quite active but basically its a hugfest, never saw any technical question asked or answered. soooo yeah they are active but who knows when it will happen.

With each passing day I am growing more and more flabbergasted by the sheer incompetence of their team. It is a renpy game, I have yet to see a single renpy game slow down for technical issues for a bit, not to mention a whole effing year.

Its not like it is trying to reinvent the wheel either, no free roam or anything. Just... why.

There is a certain amount of benefit of doubt, and "okay, some shit got fucked up", but we have passed that point by miles. In normal world, someones ass would be fired 10 times over, just saying.
