everything was going well in may too when he said he'll release in june, this guy is a liar, period...
that's the only thing you'll get wallpapers... i wonder wich games do the same with only monthly wallpapers and "coming soon" posts
Judging from latest Patreon post, Henissart got some serious health problems, and this is the reason for latest delays. So please be respectful to creator health and work.
If I'd get a penny every time a dev says something like that I would be a millionaire right now.

before I get to the wallpaper I want to quickly address some comments from yesterday's post about me saying 'soon' a lot:
I agree that I've done that and if I could go back in time I would change some of what I've written in the past. So, I don't disagree with you on the problem.
That said, writing 'development updates' is tricky when personal life and game development is essentially one and the same and you don't want to write real-time, public commentary on your private life. It's just really, really strange to broadcast to hundreds of people that you had a colonoscopy because you had blood in your stool for months or similar pretty things.
At the same time, not saying anything also isn't an option, right? So you skip the details, imagine everything going about as well as you're used to from the past and go from there with your post. Works alright if it does go well from that point, doesn't work if it doesn't.
I don't know, I might be bad at this sort of communication, but it's also genuinely more difficult than you might think. I'll elaborate on that when I write the promised 'analysis of what went wrong' after the next update.
Anyway, the wallpaper: Still old system this month. Anja is benched for winning last time. Poll runs until Wednesday evening.

I'm sorry but if this dev was a straight up and honest dude instead of only "coming soon" post he could've told ppl in what stage this update is what percentage is done cuz he knows that for cryin' out lout but no he gives monthly wallpapers and excuses, i don't care what illness excuse you have in almost one year since this update you could've been cured by cancer (fortunately i have in family someone who was cured so i'm talking from experience) and nothing beats cancer so yeah....

If you look back a couple posts here, you'll see that I gave an update from 1st Patreon post.
Hoping dev is fine, but from experience with kijiji, marketplace, craiglist, etc...when someone says family emergency, fell ill, need another day to get the cash, my dog lost my homework. They generally fail to come through. I will keep checking in, but as mentioned, easily could have given a partial update or progress report.
We are getting it free, but at the same time, we haven't seen anything in almost 10 months either. Not even an outline of whats going on. If its 15 minutes of play time you can be assured a lot of people are going to blow their top and quit the game.
