Just played through this and have to say absolutely distraught that this game has been abandoned. It seems from the twitter posts as well that there was a new release that he was working on and then subsequently stopped. Without reading through all 210 pages of comments what was the reason? Pirating of the game instead of having patrons pay for it? Because I would have happily signed up to this game like I have for others. Shame.

It has nothing to do with having few sponsors, they had quite a few and he was making good money to keep developing the good game, but instead he started making excuses and putting off updates to the point where people slowly stopped subscribing.

There is not absolute truth why but is almost obvious when you notice at the time

Since the beginning the dev stated that he was making a femdom game and that's the focus of the story. But everytime some people appear in the thread to complain "The render are beultiful but I hate femdom", "when can I rape these womans?", "I wanted to like this game because of the renders but I don't like the femdom".

Because of these people the Dev thought that if he made a maledom route he would gain a lot of support, so he decide to make 3 differents routes, basically he made a update with 2-3 time the usual content. After all the effort he put in the update what was the result? little to no increase in his patreon.

Because of these 3 routes he now need to work a lot more for each update with little increase on money, losing all his motivation.

I think the problem lies with the developer himself. His pedantry and attempts to make the game perfect + conflict with the f95 community (resentment of piracy etc) + neglect and inability to communicate with players (potential patrons) led him to what we have now - a desktop wallpaper once a month instead of the game.

And the additional division of the game's storylines into three different ones (neutral, submissive and maledom) wouldn't have been a disaster if Henissart had managed to find common ground with the players. On the subject of communication with fans is very well said here.

I think it was the patrons fault. They continued to pay him without any progress for over a year. Some are still paying him to do absolutely nothing. Why blame him for not saying no to free money ? Why work for it when you can get a good percentage of it for free ?
That's complete nonsense. You're blaming the victim. You're trying to justify their lack of morality by shifting the blame. I guess it tells us something about you, in a way.

I didn't mention because it would become a huge text but yes, the dev got a huge resentment against this forum.

But the fact is that he never worked on the update ever since the last one. How do I know? Simple, before every update the dev always released various sneak peak and lots of post talking about what to expect of the update. How many on this "update"? Zero, just wallpapers, personal problems every month and fake release dates.

He said the same thing after his last update as well. Then came the "Oh I wanted to re-render the entire game, it may delay the update a week or 2 years."

At 6 months out most of us had doubt as 9 months we knew it was BS. Still many had hopes of more content and continued to filll this clowns wallet for 600 a month for a wallpaper -gasp- that you could vote on. Nice art, but come on. This might as well be submissive monkey yacht club-so happy those stupid things didn't take off and can't wait for meta to fail.

Alot of porn game devs have a resentment of piracy, understandably so since everyone deserves to be paid for their work, but without sites like F95 I NEVER would've learned about this game. I've bought multiple games from this site on Steam and even joined as a Patreon for a few of them (despite regretting it afterwards). Patreon does not and will not (EVER) advertise these games, or give them any amount of visibility whatsoever, they merely tolerate this content (barely) because it makes them a boatload of money... I wish devs would embrace this site, at least as a form of advertising for their products...

However, there are some developers who have done so and are now doing well with subscribers/patrons and have an excellent warm relationship with the f95 community. A prime example of this is the developers of Karlsson's Gambit, Pale Carnation and that same Seath Black (developer of several successful games). And if you look at the whole threads of the games (on f95), you notice that a lot of them are not initiated (created) at all by moderators, but by the developers themselves, who were smart enough to understand the obvious - "if you can't fight something, you'd better head it". Of course, I'd also like to see more smart developers who understand the importance of f95 as the main advertising platform for their games.

Personally, in my opinion, the developer did a great job. If he also added the possibility that the young Mistress put the MC on a tea diet like a heather, for me personally, this game would be close to ideal.
He just had to continue, it is clear that the end of many would have disappointed, but many would have liked it (a matter of taste).
He just had to complete this game and then (if he didn’t like something in his own creation, which is a common thing for creative people) he could, for example, make a remake of this game, with improved graphics, plot ...
For example, the game "vicious circle", I played it in RPG several times, and now I enjoy playing its remake on another platform.
And I would love to play a remake of this game, no matter how similar the plots were, it's always nice to see new 3D.
Just sharing my opinion, thanks.

Thank god "Karlsson's Gambit" came out and completely filled the void this game left ...

Not really, Karlsson Gambit is too crude and unrealistic for my taste.
That's why I put 99%, you are part of that 1% , I always leave a margin of error for these cases. But you're right, it's very crude and fictional, although you can determine how crude you want it to be.
