0.4 progress report and character poll!
Happy Monday everyone! After a much-needed weekend break, the grind resumes.
Development of 0.4 is under way, with a couple of features already completed and two major scenes almost fully rendered. As you may have guessed by now, each update adds stories to two characters at a time. This keeps the updates coming out in a somewhat timely manner while also feeling like they have a decent amount of content.
Since this game is still in early stages, I decided to not immediately update characters again after they have already been focused on in the previous update, in an attempt to build up the town a bit more. Therefore, for the purposes of this poll, Beverly and Kim will not be options, as well as some other minor characters that have not yet been properly introduced. Beverly will be receiving two new scenes in the next update regardless.
Below, I would like you to pick the one character you would most like to see receive an update in 0.4, and they will be the target of the next update, along with one character of my choosing, as certain characters' stories are sometimes related. If none interest you, please select 'New Character' or you can simply not vote at all. Please note that some of the character designs in the image are not final, and may be changed or improved during the development of the update, (mostly the earlier ones).
The poll will end in one week, so that everyone has a chance to vote.
