Use the attached file in the post above you, if it still deletes the save. Place the save and change its property to Read only mode =W=
How do you use that save file? It reads as something called a microsoft access file, then nothing happens

Go to C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Local\Fallen_Angel
You have to replace the old one with this

It's just the password. You can download the game from the dev's website (posted one page back, ctrl+f toffi).

It even does it with saves from older versions, drives me nuts every time I forget to copy my old save. Though with the upgrades in game it's much easier to progress (that succubus fight the first time around was pretty harsh).
