Considering the petition against Ubisoft for the server closure of the Crew was kind of a success (they will be making offline modes for the Crew 2 and Motorfest) I believe what Helius did can get him in legal trouble if we open a peitition.

The dude outright scammed everyone.

The initial demo up to Fallen Doll 4.9 displayed a much different premise than the game we have now

I paid for a Steam Key thinking that while scenes now became unlockables by grinding, I would just find a game save or cheat engine to unlcok all of them.

Helius turned it into payment walls. The entire point is that its an animation gallery and now the scenes are locked behind payments or hours of grinding (not like other games which already deliver a full game, with maybe cosmetics behind a paywall)
In this case, the full game IS the scenes. But heres the thing, we already PAID for the full game.

Also no update posted on Steam since 2023. what the heck. Helius should be sued.

Unless you have some really strong local laws you could use to force Patreon into giving you a refund I don't think much can be done legally.

Well, I'm pretty sure there were scenes with Juzi on rule34 Videos. I watched scenes with her with link from this forum at least at May, but can't find it now (there are scenes, but not with her now). Mystery.

Keep in mind the latest official build does not have VR. They are supposedly adding it back in in the future but whether this actually happens, or whether they make a total mess out of it, is yet to be seen.

Their terms you quoted are bullshit which is a common maneuver to throw a bunch of shit that tries to scare the consumer into thinking it is correct to avoid being pursued in court. Often they're quite excessively broad, too.

A court determines the penalties and they can definitely exceed what they gained. What they're trying to position is known as a Limitation of Liability but they're often not enforceable between a business and a consumer and are more practical for inter-business relationships.

The most obvious issue that Patreon would risk a class action lawsuit over is precisely Gross Negligence, which is coincidentally one of the key reasons limitation of liability can be denied by a court. The most obvious cause would be if it can be proven that a Patreon creator was intentionally misleading / blatant fraud and attempting to exploit interest/profit by such habitual maneuvers and Patreon was made acutely provably aware yet chose to do nothing. This no longer falls under unfulfilled offerings or promises and the creator would also not be able to argue it as just a mere promise. Such a promise could also be challenged as to why it is not being met in court which can prove especially damning without a particularly good reason it wasn't upheld or if it was one that was never realistically reasonable to begin with.

Another issue is in some states LoL is way more restricted and easier to invalidate as it depends on jurisdiction, which could prove not to work in Patreon's favor.

However, it is definitely a giant fuck you and don't even bother legalese.

Most damning is good luck ever getting a class action moving or a competent legal team over a porn game. Proving negligence would also be a task. That said, Helius has certainly not made proving it impossible.

I mostly agree with your moral of the story with a slight adjustment. It isn't as bad if you are willing/can afford to throw away the money and it is a relatively small amount, especially if it is something that interests you and already has immediate rewards such as this game. The sad part is if Helius were a better scammer he could just update the game to be presented as a live service or freemium product and bill people regularly, or the same way as currently doing, by nature rather than eating flack because his constant failed promise of release and the haunting visage of "Unfinished game".

hey i have a problem and a question (im a new at this so dont hate me plz)

my problem is when i play this cracked version on normal game mod its all blurry texture and my graphics looks like ps1 game but when i play gallery mod its normal graphics as it should be whats the problem here ?(my pc is core i7 11th - ram16 - rtx 3050 4gb)

and my question is i have planning to buy this game so is it worth it or there is no new contents on paid version?
will my pc can handle atleast gallary mod like cracked version or will i have same blurry textures ?

I purchased this game and supported it, but the crummy business practices, especially relocking content I've unlocked before, is nuts. Glad to see there is a way to actually play this game, limited as it is.

1) Has a better POV mode ever come around? The camera can be super wonky to deal with. Specifically, the female POV.

2) I've seen discussion of the various versions. When I checked the current game, I saw the newer characters and related scenes and outfits to be unlocked. I just downloaded this cracked version, and it seemed to be what I played a few years ago. Not sure how often this is updated, but thanks to those that have made it work.

3) as stated above, performance / graphics seem hit or miss. I feel like it used to look and play better on my system, but maybe that is rose tinted memories.

1 I searched the patch notes and it seems that POV was remade in 0.8.4 and is gonna be improved in 0.8.5.
2 i didn't come around to check this thread often but I think the crack didn't ever get updated after the devs added Denuvo in update 0.7 (or 0.6? can't remember) a couple of years ago. Don't get your hope up for newer cracks in the future.
3 The game moved to unreal engine 5, a lot of lighting and materials do feel different now. Mostly for the better imo, but if your hardware is not powerful enough the visuals with default graphics setting don't have much improvements.
