Far as I know this sounds legit given that Subverse has also been invited to the platform recently. Gives them more time to wait before handing out keys as no steam store page takes this long to setup. So you can deff tell they still have that drive to make the month reset before anything final is mentioned for one more big round of donations.

I am more than sure that there was no investor with 15,000,000 and there is no one. This is all a lie. Let's say that they have an average of 20,000 subscribers with$10 / month. In total, 15,000,000 = 6.25 years with 20k patron c $ 10 / month. Only the investor will require a clear program and deadlines, etc. Gullible patrons can be milked forever, feeding pictures and mini-videos for six months

I'm hit or miss on this one as we're at the cusp of Adult gaming breaking into the mainstream. It is a literal goldmine that has yet to be fully tapped into. It is very possible someone made them that offer knowing full well our advancements coming along with VR and everything else. Subverse made the leap into steam and while other smaller adult games came before, it was on the bigger side and more known to the public. With them being green lit on GoG it's not surprising that the recent news of helius also being invited to join GoG new nsfw section. It's not entirely impossible to believe that investors are looking to acquire projects that already show solid signs of revenue returns and will only get bigger upon releases in big gaming sites.

I find that very hard to believe. There may be tolerance of anime-style lolis because of how caricaturistic they are, but realistic depictions of a girl who is what? Like 14? Personally I don't have any moral problem with ** as long as it's animated and doesn't involve real kids, but I don't think most people, or government officials, have the same attitude.

CDPR? lolwut? The same CDPR that made Witcher and Cyperpunk? Also, 15 million dollars? This all sounds way too farfetched for me.
That being said, It would be nice if an Hgame of this quality got actual funding for once, along with a proper release on a mainstream platform such as Steam.
We'll see?

Don't expect a new release here. This morning they (ProjectH on Discord) was discussing how the game will be streaming the assets from a server. It's going to require "always online" access. Think of it this way, many of the files will never actually be maintained on your computer. You want to play with Galatea, the server will stream the assets to the client. The rational is the game will be a small install on the users end. Fallen Doll isn't getting a crack. Not many will want to go through the process of capturing all of the asset files, building the server emulator, and streaming these to a client.

They have not taken the $15M so they have not "sold out." They also said that all the outfits will be earnable with out paying for the access. Also, this is a form of DRM, but it also is for the purpose of keeping a ton of space free on peoples drives. My internet isn't data capped so I don't mind. Also, I am getting a key for the game, so I don't mind. DRM only upsets people that refuse to support the developers. I enjoy the product that they are building so I don't mind supporting the developers.
