They never responded. The steam page has people bitching about it too.
The answer we got from the Mods was READ THE FAQ.
Which says nothing about the issue.
See my reason for my frustration. They kinda lied about the new "servers".
Plus the devs are in China so "I am lagging and freezing up in game" makes them think stuttering/freezing up bad computer.

Helius is even stingy with giving free likes during a closed beta test when the progress is going to get wiped
Because next month he'll begin handing out "Booster packages" each week, but only one each week and they will probably only include a 100 likes or so, like the current pack we got when we first logged into the game when it released almost a month ago now. How the fuck are we supposed to test shit if we can't test it because shit is locked behind F2P grind?

Here's the first public release of Mindflayer, my reimplementation of the online systems of Operation Lovecraft!

Mindflayer 1.0.0 (for game 0.4.2) Mega: Mega

Usage: Extract into the Paralogue/Binaries/Win64 folder of a cracked (or legit owned) game, run Mindflayer, and on the first run click OK and Yes.

Known issues:
- Going back to the changing room is not yet implemented and can be buggy
- Exiting a scene sometimes hides a part of the character's model (it comes back when starting another scene)
- Gacha elements such as the store, missions, news, mail, etc are intentionally not implemented
- Sanity and character stamina drain are currently not implemented, not sure if it's wanted

Note that this is for game version 0.4.2, which hasn't been released & cracked just yet. If you don't own the game, you will need to wait for a 0.4.2 crack. It doesn't quite work right with 0.4.0.

In the near future, I will continue cleaning up the code so I can open-source the project on GitLab, and when the next game version comes out (supposedly soon) I'll be ready to fix anything that breaks.

The mindflayer 1.0.1 works with 0.4.5. My trick is to launch 0.4.5 and then launch mindflayer 1.0.1. Somehow if you have two game windows open the mindflayer seems to work as intended.

What Helius does with beta makes sense to me i've seen it done in past. First of all you never what to give players everything - because they will binge play to try everything out and then won't come back anymore. You also need to be careful about free give outs because then they will expect it or complain that they were cheated because shit was so much easier to unlock during beta.
The practice is you only give enough to get the testing done, only if you don't have enough testers then you start giving out more stuff.

IMO this shit is real beta, one could argue its alpha based on some of the bugs that are there.

Yea but its not just frustrating. We were lied to. They said that multiplayer in harem mode would be optional. You cant even enter the mode unless one player at least shows up and progression is dependant on others.

It was released for almost a month now and still completely broken and no signs of them changing course and listening to the players.

Graphics and fps took a huge downgrade.

Its an easy fix to listen to us. Just transfer all new animations to gallery mode. But they arent despite literally almost everyone stating they HATE the current direction.

Cyberpunk devs received bigger backlash for releasing a buggy yet at least playable game that is now heading in the right direction. They at least offered refunds when ppl just spent a one time payment.

Some supporters payed 100s of dollars and project h literally ruined a game which could have been the best porn game to date over greed and stupid ideas and gave us the middle finger. And they seem to be getting off quote easily in comparison.

So basically you have to go online (and hope the connection doesn't bug out or elevator doesn't break) and let random people rail you? lol

What the fuck does your graphics card has anything to do with servers in china? Do people still confuse lag and stutter also bottleneck, wtf? Lag means connection issues with server, usually caused by high ping. Lag has nothing to do with your PC because it is entirely an online problem. Stutter means the game running in your local machine is having a hard time rendering frames because of bad optimization of the game or you not having enough hardware power. Bottleneck is a term used for when a part in your PC is holding back your entire system, for example having a 3080 for a graphics card but having a very old CPU, causing your graphics card to wait for your CPU to process things for it. Jesus christ please stop writing random buzzwords you've seen on the internet without knowing their meaning.

Based on info posted here and on steam, I suggest don't give them money or, at least, not until the game actually releases. There is a significant number of negative reviews here and on Steam discussions. Even long-time backers of the project are cancelling their subscriptions. Devs and/or mods are not listening to feedback and are banning people on their Discord for raising questions. That, for me, are red flags so I suggest you do not waste your money on this for now.

I never actually played it, just a general idea based on reading this thread. Here's what I know from what I understand:
- Multiplayer is called Harem Mode
- To perform sex scenes, you need to join lobbies and do it with other players.
- There seems to be a 'like' system but I don't yet understand how that works. Others may be able to explain it clearly.
- Sex scenes need to be unlocked. Also not sure how to but they (project h, devs) say you can unlock them without paying.
- They claim there are no microtransactions but there are 4 season passes per year. And booster packs for each character which, if I understand correctly, unlock sex scenes if you don't want to grind.

(To others, feel free to correct if I stated something incorrectly or unclearly)

Sorry if it's still confusing. You can check the thread for more info, though.
