1) Why don't you say "at least two years" or even "six months", by the same logic? Obviously, 8.5 years is bigger than 6, 2, or 0,5.That is why I said at least six years, I did go digging through all those Chinese language forums once out of curiosity and honestly it isn't entirely clear when development started in earnest.
2) You don't have to digging for "development start". FD (then "Prologue") demo came out in fall 2014 with "next year full release" promise and started milking patreons for money. So the development started at least at summer 2014 and continues endlessly for almost 8.5 years now.
3) Ok, my mistake. So it was changing version number within UE4, but it is no matters, because nothing visually or in "game" had changed.
What matters, it was last "update" until now.
