The new file is patch.rpyc which is different from the original patch.rpy. Should the new file be copied to the game folder by itself or with the original patch.rpy? I've tried it both ways and am still not seeing the images, and I restarted the game from the beginning both times.

I tried the new patch and its still the same. Sorry been a bit busy.
The first thing I usually try to do in games like this is to see if I can use a blank name for the MC. While I prefer a default name for the MC, it is just good coding practice to test if input is valid, in this case not blank. If you receive input, be it from a user or even another system it is always good practice to test if it is valid before trying to use it.

Windows defender is junk and the only thing it's good at is throwing out false positives. If you want the file scanned correctly use virustotal to scan the file as it scans the file with all of the well known good virus scanners.

the alerts are false positives, compiling an exe package without certification generates a security error. alternatively just use the package to unpack .rar / .zip

I can guarantee that they are the same files as the compact package transformed into exe for alternative installation convenience.
link to this new patch you're talking about that actually works? the one on lewdpatcher doesnt work
