Absolutely. One of the best scenes was in the beach, and I was super excited how the things were going. But it lacked emotions. However, the game is pretty brilliant, and I trust the developer to keep the pace going well. He can up the ante anytime, and hopefully Chapter 7 would be great as well!
I agree, the beach scene is the best scene so far and it's not even done yet, and if the
dev wanted to, he could set it up so Derek and Jeremy could flat out own Maive with her
having no way out but to summit to any sexual demand they want of her.

What the heck!?!?!? The dev replaced one of the most beautiful women in any game with some mid tier old lady model that looks like it's from some previous generation of 3d models?

I honestly cannot grasp why on earth you would ruin one of the best looking women in any game and replace her with some completely forgettable and vastly inferior model!?

She was literally the far and away main reason I even played this game!

What the heck!?

I mean I get personal tastes and all... but I just don't get why somebody would make a change like this.

EDIT: I read back through previous pages and it seems like all these changes were made so that the dev could push it on Steam and try to make more money etc. So the young characters were aged up, and the Joyce model was changed to a vastly inferior model to avoid potential legal problems from using a Death Stranding model.

I understand why... still don't agree that it was a good change, and will no longer be following this game.

Good luck, dev.

First of all, only models have been exchanged. Which doesn't change anything about the game's story itself. That means the game itself stays the same. I understand that you have your favourites. But seriously, the new models look way more realistic and hotter than the ones before. Ok, that's a matter of taste of course.

Second. I am a private book author. And when you're writing a book, it's also normal to change and improve existing text so that it reads better and has more atmosphere. Just as it is normal with games that optical improvements are made. In every book and game there are rough drafts of scenes that are rewritten and changed umpteen times before the final version is published. The only difference here is that you get to see the raw versions.

Third. A game is the work, the imagination, of the developer. You as a consumer are a guest. You can be enthusiastic about a product or not. But you can't expect it to be perfectly tailored to your taste. You are just one of many. a developer cannot please everyone. Mainly the work has to please the developer himself. iI that doesn't do it, you can assume that the full version will never come. Development consumes a lot of lifetime. And no one invests it in something they don't like themselves.

I would recommend you to get off your high horse, show some respect to the developer, give him/her a fair chance, and try to get excited about the game that you liked before despite the change.

Or you could realize that having a model in a game for what a year now? And then suddenly swapping it to a model that I don't see how anyone could argue looks half as good. It's like you were using Genesis models from several revisions back or something... aside from the subjective difference in attractiveness, the model itself just looks like it has much lower resolution.

To exaggerate a bit, it would be like going from Death Stranding graphics to World of Warcraft and insisting that it looks just as good.

I would 100% expect people to be upset if I was 6 major releases into a game and just decided to swap out one of the characters with someone who doesn't look anything like the original person aside from being a female with dark hair.

Heck, I've seen people get upset about more than that... redrawing a main character and just changing her face a bit in the 2D game "Resident X"... or in "Single Again" they updated the engine/models and tried very hard to make them look the same, but a LOT of people were upset about that because it wasn't quite right and they'd fallen in love with the original look.

We're playing PORN GAMES here. Not fine literature. If you swap out one of the main beautiful women 6 major revisions into a game, when the APPEARANCE of the women is one of the PRIME REASONS ANYONE IS PLAYING TO BEGIN WITH, then if you think people don't have any right to complain or won't complain, then frankly I don't know what to tell you.

People choose which characters they're interested in in part based on appearance.

So if a player "falls in love" with a woman in the game, based at least in good part on their appearance, and then you swap out their pretend video game girlfriend a year later... it seems the height of absurdity to expect nobody to have any problem with it. "Don't mind me, I just swapped out your crush with a girl who looks nothing like her."

Exactly. I started playing because I saw a character that grabbed my attention, now this character has been replaced by a gray nps, and my attention has gone away. (it's like watching a series in which the main actors are changed in the middle of the season)
Complain makes no sense, but expressing my opinion is my right.

"The author replaced Mama model from Death Stranding. So disappointed"

You are answering yourself it is a copyrighted model sooner or later it would be changed since its initial goal made it clear and it was Steam so it was only a matter of time.

and I am 90% sure that both you and the other did not support the developer at all and if I am wrong, go ahead and show it.

Also, if you want the old Joyce back so much, support the creator on patreon, subscribestar and Steam so he can pay for the license (who knows how expensive it will be) otherwise don't make a storm out of a glass of water.

A lot of shouting fire but little running to get water to put it out.

A lot of self righteous preaching on a forum for pirated porn games.

I agree with you but for me the point where i stopped my support where when the boys where aged up and the Dev didn't made it because he wanted,he made it to not get "maybe" problems with steam. The Joyce model is not importent for me i'm only interested in the now a bit too old for me boys,(i really hope the black pics will be replaced in the next update)more dialogue in the scenes would be good too.The update was good but i fear there will be maybe more changes in the future to be "safe" with his launch on steam.
