I tried that once before.
After your message I tried it two mores times, same error.

I just go to 00console.rpy and edit line 108 from "config.console = False" to "config.console = True"

I also tried adding a option.rpy with "

config.developer = True "

in Game folder (of course I'd erase everything and take a fresh copy from the archive after every try.
Same error every time. Everything worked well with week1... but not week2

This file will enable console and disable dev (which is what causes the crash).

Almost sure this was already explained. Translators only get the update files after they have been released, so translations are always at least one step behind.

I'm like 98.5% certain that Lydia is running the whole show.

Why are you trying to make everything so complicated?
First, never touch the 00console.rpy file. It is totally useless.

Then, in the option.rpy, just add:
define config.developer = True
define config.console = True

No need of inits, python's hide, marabout, black magic or voodoo stuffs.
This will work 99% of the time. And if it doesn't work, it means that the dev has blocked the config.console somewhere. And when it's blocked, 99% of the time it's in the option.rpy file.
If not, just go for a search in the rpy files of the /game directory.

But here, whether for week 1 or week 2, it's out of the box for both console and developer tabs.

And same goes for for the roolback.

Here is what I add in all the renpy games I'm playing and it always works like a charm:

define config.developer = True
define config.console = True

define config.rollback_enabled = True
define config.hard_rollback_limit = 256
define config.rollback_length = 256

define config.has_autosave = False
define config.autosave_on_choice = False
define config.autosave_on_quit = False

Lots of arrogance and a long ass message for something you haven't tried beforehand and that doesn't work.

Please update the German language in week 2.

I don't think there will be translation of german in week 2 fully for some time or even ever. In discord chat VI (the main developer) told us that due to steam banning adult games in germany they lost a significant market there and as such the price for translating the game in that language is not something they are think is worth doing (as translators change a lot and if you are not earing from doing something, its not economical to do that).

A ban that still boggles my mind. It was not enforced by Germany or one of its states (even though Steam made a misleading statement blaming a combined supervisory agency of two of the states) but out of Steam's own accord. The complaints that were triggering it were not about the games being sold but of the screenshots being too easy to access. It does make no sense to me at all.

Germany is of course well known for causing problems for developers with their comparatively strict laws, but mostly they refer to depictions of violence and nazi symbolism, not pornography as such, which is to say while there are laws about protecting minors from porn, they are less strict than in many other countries.

As such I do think that it is probably more "for some time" than ever and games will return. But no promises and don't hold your breath.

Am I the only one wanting more content with Stacy? Don't get me wrong AmRose and Daisy cool....but where is the Stacy lovin'? The process to draw out or slow burn Lydia I am all for since it seems she has her on kinks and fetishes. But really come on we are missing the "word that shall not be named" or...familial love , equivalant with stacy and a bigger more glaring kink of pregnancy. Yes. But you can transfer the save (so no manual questions like "Did you kill the dev on thursday?" start in week 2)
