my save is all corrupted and I have no desire to start over from scratch
(Now that I saw that it had a supposedly bad ending, it was rushed, could someone describe this ending as I don't intend to start from scratch for this)

Hi all!

So, as many of you have already noticed, I finished work on the game much earlier than I originally planned.
There were several reasons for this, and one of them is that I was simultaneously preparing a new project for release. A new project that began to take almost all my free time. And since I like the new project much more, in terms of the quality of the renders that I make for you, I decided to bring the Forbidden Basketball to the final.

Let me tell you about the Forbidden Basketball final. The end of the game was originally conceived as it is now, only much later (After the main character conquers all the girls). But the ending would be about the same. I don't know if this is good or bad. Also, due to the early ending, I had to remove the character's stat points, as they did not fit the current duration of the game.

I want to express my gratitude to all those people who supported me and who really liked the game.

As for my new project. Its name is Pill King. The first version of the game will be released this month.

So you pretty much lay an egg, deliver a half assed performance with game but think you're going to just suck more fans in with your next game? Like be real, the description of your next game just sounds like another cliche cash grab. But then again people aren't too bright around here and tend to accept anything as long as it's "Great renders, 5 stars" so go off.

I personally tend to not trust Devs who are so quick to just throw in the towel because they got bored and move on to another game.

Well, it's of course the devs right to do so. But also mine to ignore the future projects now (which is easy for me anyway with that announced content).

Well, the new one will get some attention and maybe a few 5 star ratings here, mostly because of the "wow, great graphics" guys. But I take a bet it will be not finished properly, too. I imo can't see many supporters for the new one either, except a few hard core lovers of that content. Anyway, good luck to the dev.

Definitely. Too many College-MC-Fucking-Coed AVNs (not just UoP, but Being a DIK, College Kings, AOA Academy, Fetish Locator, 500+ others). Hell if imagination is lacking just age-regress the MC to a shota and set it in elementary or middle school and give him a different set of age- and setting-appropriate problems to deal with. At least that would be different (rare enough that I can't remember the names of any such AVNs, though have seen a few, even if they were short, shit quality and converted from a comic strip to Renpy/Daz 1:1).

Eh, disappointing ending is better than no ending/abandoned. Nothing hurts rep more than just dropping your project and starting another just because there's no money in it (believe it or not some do it just to kill time and enjoy it). And if it's good enough for the prudes on Patreon odds are it will be boring with none of the kinks people want to fap to in an AVN. People see Dr. Pink Cake's 12k subs and think "woah, I can be rich too" when they ignore the fact that he probably spent $100k+ of his own money beforehand on advertising BAD, when most everyone was stuck at home in a global quarantine as well. These days odds are very good that you will be lucky to get 10 subs there with the other 10,000 boring AVNs so if you are making an AVN for money you are probably choosing the wrong career, at least if it's been censored to hell until it's Patreon- or Steam-approved (incest and lolis do rather well on SS/BB, though probably never DPK-level, and even though with SS it now takes forever to get reviewed, dunno why they bother reviewing if they eventually approve everything anyway).

Does he not do any market research? Presumably FB was rushed ended due to lack of subs. Well, he's probably going to have the same problem with his new one with Sandbox and NTR tags (plus incest on Patreon = ok, let's hope you don't get banned there). I see those and I don't care what other tags there are, it gets ignored. Only sandboxes I deal with are actual (non-porn) games on Steam, not a porno AVN where I just wanna read, make some choices, and fap to the unlocked scenes.

I take it you've never heard of Ctrl+skip dialog in options? It's not that hard. Personaly if an AVN is good enough to get my attention then I save during every choice and before every scene out of habit (easier to play alternate paths/endings, and easier access to fap material when there's no replay gallery). I suppose having more than one save also has the benefit if the last one was corrupted then just load the previous one, or the one before that and skip dialog.
