We plan on selling on Steam, Nutaku, JAST, MangaGamer, FAKKU, Denpasoft, DLSite, Eroges, and just about everywhere else.

You'll still be able to get the game off Patreon, too. The game will be uncensored on all platforms except for Steam, where the initial game you buy will have no sex content, but then on the same page there'll be free "patch as DLC" stuff that you can install to return the game to it's normal, uncensored setting.

We'll also be translating it into Japanese a while after launch and selling it at Comiket with physical copies if we can, as well as multiple other languages.

This is probably the one game on this site that I would want a physical copy of, hopefully you release an English hard copy as well and sell it on a blog or something. A Talia plush character would probably sell like crazy as well.

Someone on our Discord actually gave away a few dakimakuras (body pillows) of fanart they did of Talia, and the 5 he was giving away "sold out" (they were free) within 10 minutes, so after that response I think we'll definitely look into doing our own dakimakuras and maybe other stuff you suggested like physical copies and plushies when the game's done.

You certainly have a large enough following to pull it off and there are lots of factories in China and such that will probably be able to handle it.

So I finally just beat Wren. Tough fight, especially the pillar stage. The way I had to do the fight was at 0.75x speed, which I know is cheating, but otherwise for me there was just too much going on. I would like to see sound effects implemented in this fight for when he changes the element of his shield. In comparison with the pillar phase, the "regular" phase wasn't that bad, but I felt like I had to keep track of a lot of things at once. Noticing that he changed elements and then having to cycle through my abilities to get to that element whilst trying to dodge his attacks was just too much for me to handle.

I'm assuming the scene you get after the fight makes more sense when the story is implemented in the level? To be fair, I've not exactly kept track of the story and lore, but

That's an interesting bug, I can't say I've heard of that one yet; we'll look into it ASAP!

As far as the Vie scene goes, yeah, there's a huge contextual plot reason that isn't being shown there for spoilers, etc.

Nice work! You can be among the people who beat WREN before we got rid of the instakill mechanic of his pillars (the pillars will still be the main active part of the 2nd phase of the fight, just without instakilling)

Honestly, at least for me, The pillars weren't that bad. It was slightly annoying when I would be a half second too slow and barely clip an edge and suddenly die but otherwise it was okay. I did the opposite of your suggestion and stayed on the side with 3 pairs. Only had to worry about moving forward or backwards. Keeping the community idea of getting on the one that just moved helped alot.

As far as the reward scene.. I think I know what happened there based on some of your previous comments and things I've seen in game. Look forward to seeing if I'm right when the game releases.

I'd honestly like to see a video of the fight from your end if at all possible, because if he's moving faster than intended on some people's computers, that would be really bad.

The sequel basically takes place during the same time frame as the original game, but from Faye's perspective.

So they'll both be in it; the changes though will be to gameplay (Faye will play significantly different from Talia, not just attacks but the way you get powerups with her will differ completely, the bosses and sex scenes and enemy attacks and maps will all be totally different too.) and most everything else. Much less emphasis on story, too.

If Talia's game was Megaman meets Metal Gear Solid, Faye's game will be Super Metroid meets Metal Gear Rising.

Accidentally? Not likely with my method. I used Cheat Engine. Before that I tried finding the address for the health, but couldn't.

In the final game the pillars won't one shot you, if that helps. And I'm sure there will be updated videos of the animations available in the game on Pornhub in time.

If you check back a few pages you should be able to find a video from me that has a lot of tips on how to make the fight easier, etc.

But yeah, powerups and no instakill will make this fight easier in the future.

Monthly demos with progress, constant communication and transparency, implementing player feedback and critique, posting updates and art publicly, refunds for any reason, only needing to pledge once to get rewards forever, encouraging piracy for those who can't afford it, investing the majority of our profits back into the game to pay people well, and a schedule through the end of development that we've stuck to might be a few of the reasons people have "fell for it".

But it's probably just that we're master hypnotists and have successfully cast a spell on everyone to get them to give us money against their will. Definitely that last one and not the other stuff.

Where is this schedule you speak of? I would like to know when you project to be done with this game. I'll keep my wallet closed until then, but it might well open up when the game is finished. The game will be $20 (so the 50% means 50% off of that $20 if you pledge $10 or more cumulatively, or in one shot).

The front page of the Patreon used to make this really clear, but ever since the Patreon redesign this month, it's covered up pretty much everything so I've just now redone those tiers to make it extremely clear since during this month where they launched the redesign, we've gotten more questions about this particular thing than we've gotten over the entire lifespan of the Patreon.

You keep the game on launch reward even if you never pay again, too, of course.

You answered the financial question well enough. Whenever I see notable devs broach that instead of just ignoring it outright, they or their white knights sometimes even act offended they're being asked about it and throw out the "You're not even a patron so you've no right to criticize" fallacy. Like there aren't lurkers out there noticing this behavior and immediately thinking Okay, so you won't ever get my money.

Anyway. I'm on tablet with a dead pc, but back when I was able to play(can't recall which iteration), it was obvious you actually gave a shit about trying to make the platforming enjoyable and responsive. Also I periodically go through and read a few pages and your bedside manner is very good. What I recently liked hearing of was the [unlockable via challenge clearing] sex scenes. Lack of those is the main reason I favor galleries in porn games --storyline sex is fine, but I dislike encouragement of bad gameplay. The other aspect of galleries I like is adding interactivity to the scenes. Even if it's just cosmetic like palette swaps or a horizontal flip of the characters. I guess I'm a control freak because being able to change the action of a scene in real time always endears me to those compared to others.

Hmmm, there's something I wonder about the new arousal system you intend to implement. On one hand it's great because I was one of those who always encouraged a system that didn't make you lose your time in order to get the H content and made you feel disconnected of your intent. I tend to make the girls into total perverts as soon as possible in these kind of games during my first playthrough. (I only wish there were more times in these things where we could feel attraction towards those she nuts for more than just their male-tools. Would be easier to relate since I don't automatically want anything with ass and tits, hence me not surrendering to most girls in the before mentioned Monster Girl Quest... but that's just me).

Anyways, back on topic, there's a technical concern... if I get it right, these "arousal ticks" are accumulated by the time you get watching mobs do you. Makes me think about how possible it will be for the system to consider that statistic as a"lewd" mentality on part of the player, when it was just them being outright bad by all the bits of seconds accumulated through multiple grabs. In any case, that's just for the first playthrough, which always feels the more genuine from an RPG standpoint. Subsequent ones will always feel like you do it just to unlock an ending and see more content.

Oh and for the boss fight, even if it changes, a quickchange to another set of equipment would be REALLY useful since some items clearly help more in the first phase (fast charge) and others in the second (more damage for normal shot and life steal), but 't's a hassle changing that manually after 6 failed atttempts.

UPDATE: Oh, lifesteal works even if it's against the shields, nice.
