oh look another RPGM hater again
I am not trying to start a hate war so please don't try and fuel one.

I stated a personal opinion and backed it up with my reasons. I am sure RPGM was great in its time but technology and game design has moved on. Compare the number of negative posts for RPGM, RenPy and Unity and see what that tells you?

"early ICSTOR games" are held up as examples of great RPGM games and I am sure they were the cutting edge at the time. The fact is though that ICSTOR's latest game Milfy City (which is brilliant btw) is written using RenPy. Now why would a succesful Dev with a long history with RPGM switch to RenPy? Let me think ...

I suppose I am just trying to say: If a game dev wants to reach the widest audience they should pick a platform that is widely accepted. If they are happy that their architecture choices are putting people off before they have even played the game then thats fine too.

Yup, I've given up entirely on rpgm games, even those I used to like such as Anna. They just get so massive and have no replay value because things like navigation and unskippable, slow dialogue take 90% of the game time.

Not to mention that Ren'Py works on pretty much every platform you can throw at it unlike RPGM

RPGM is for people that like to play games. REN'PY is for people that like to keep one hand on the cock and one on the mouse. pretty much sums it up.
Not particularly.

RPGM is just so generic. I'm sure there might be a couple of decent games out there made with it but by and large, it's the same look, feel, design and game with interchangeable characters and action. It just doesn't feel very fresh at this point.

Also, I'd suggest that in the term "adult game" that most people are interested in the adult part. If you aren't really interested in the porn aspect of it then there's hundreds of thousands of better games out there than even the best ever adult games.

@FlipTopBin RPGM is utter garbage, but trust me, this game is truly and exception, the absolutely brilliant writing and renders more than make up for the use of this engine and playing with walk-through allows you to look past it completely, even sometimes the little walking around you do if anything adds quite abit of immersion.

Awesome Pictures but thats absolutely the only thing this game has going for it. Tried a new game even with the walkthrough and ran into bug after bug after bug. I stopped after 5 gamebreaking ones and just looked at the CGs...

This is a great Game with a likable protagonist , And some of the best & funnest writing i've come across! The game keeps a good tempo & lets you skip Repetitive Part time work (If you want) The maps a doddle to use & wondering it opens up extra scenes otherwise Missed, 10/10 Two thumbs up from me!

And you see you started a hate war. This isn't the place to bring that. Here it's supposed to be about the game and you are disqualifying it without having even tried to play. There are other sections such as General Discussions for that.

And I say again. RPGM has a lot of fans, you're disqualifying them too.

Doing day one, goes to principals office 15 minutes of game time after being nice to the girl in the elevator, gets fired, game over.

Fuck you too, game dev, guess you don't want people playing this game. The RPGM already was enough to make it a bit annoying but a game over like that? Nope.

Naah, I was already annoyed, that annoyed me enough that I just alt-f4:ed out of there right then and there and deleted this stuff. I'm getting tired of RPGM anyway. Oh I see, it was "humor".
Well, this dev have specific sense of humor. Or "humor", depends of view. Some people like it some don't, it's all about different tastes...
