Is there a bug in 0.47 in the Kate story near the end of current content?

I just played through Kate's most recent updates and I only miss the point where Kate repeatedly talks to Sophie in class to be punished using the new system.
This worked once and Kate had the first private session with Karen and Max, but since then talking in class does not trigger any punishments anymore. I played through several weeks and chatted with Sophie in all classes, not only in Karen's, and there were no punishments. I also saved before Karen's class and reloaded dozens of times and never got a punishment for chatting with Sophie after the first private session with Karen and Max.

Workaround :

Chatting with Sophie in class does not generate an alternative punishment.
However, if you chat with Sophie in class and advance the time to 11:30 AM in the classroom, the alternative punishment event will occur.

I don't give a fuck if I earn facepalm, but how hard it is to please everyone. First we started with a public divided between Max and Kate, then, each other saying the characters are horrible. Complain about Big Brother, they complain that they don't have Eric, they complain that they have Eric, complain that Ann is dumb (???), later complain that Alice is too dominant. Complain that Kate serves all men, then complain that she only has lesbian content. Complain about these BDSM content, (yes they are awful) and then complain that the scenes are poor.

I honestly keep trying to understand what people would like to see in Max and Kate's story. What kind of script, paths and what matters the most. I, for example, don't even play this anymore, for me the story of both won't take you anywhere, it doesn't captivate me, it doesn't make me extremely interested in wanting to consume more content and be curious about what will happen in the next updates. He has a team, he probably renders and programs a little bit, another should program and another should create the story. I can't fault it, as usual, but a little effort would be nice, however, it seems that they are not as creative or afraid of making mistakes again, of making their public lose interest. I created a few small scripts, I was about to continue with Kate's story, but it seems I got discouraged. The fact is, it's impossible to make someone like it, whether you try or not.

If I knew how to program and render as well as he does, something I've never tried, I don't even know where to start because there aren't many tutorials that teach you how to render or program I would be creating my fangame based on Max's story. As for Kate's story, for me it's still incomplete, DS knows it can't make everything work around Max, there are other male npcs, there are other female npcs, so his idea is just to create a triangle between Max, Kate and Julia? without having a backstory? a plot? a story to follow? you meet a character, you want to know more about him and you will have to guess what he is. What is he? what he is doing? what does he intend to do? who is Nicolas? who is Karen? who is Maria? who are the teachers? what do they do in common besides teaching at college? who is Kate? what will she become? The time passes, history becomes increasingly empty. More and more the game loses its identity, making the player just play for the great renders. I had stopped playing Kate's story, and Max's story, I was wondering why Max is the only man to go to the women's shower to shower with other girls? I felt it was a loser's game. "Make Max the great Max" that's the goal, but, not like that, I would never do that.

That about sums it up actually
Most AVNs already have a fairly long update time, when you've got to try and please several chunk of pretty different tastes with the same product, well, this happens.
In essence, Kate & Max should be two different games, for different tastes. Problem is, the same people do it, at the sametime, or try to.

Basically, many AVN makers are spreading themselves too thin trying to do too much or please too many people, ending up with pumping out content that'll just end up displeasing a chunk of their customers, and increase the turn over of content that pleases other chunk(s).

Many still use "it's optional" as an excuse, however, they forget that "optional" content still takes the same time to design and implement, as as such, replaces content that could have been made and would have pleased the actual core customer base of people that enjoy the game. Instead, the core base has a "skip" button, leading to a much shorter enjoyable content, for the same turnover/time of development.

We have the same thing here in principle. The game used to be Kate based, but it made next to no money. So, instead of killing it and going back the product that made money (big brother), they implemented "both". And we now have two subpar products in one, that neither sides truly enjoys.

Just the opposite. Playing for Kate brought a lot of money. It was on it that the author scored the largest number of rounds. He he greedily wanted even more money and included the nerd Max in the game
Until the author started killing the game with endless updates for Max, there were always a little more patrons of Kate's story - about 52-60%

After some difficulties with missing events I played through Kate's most recent content (0.46) with the alternative punishments for Kate and Sophie.

Very disappointing to see Kate's game go down :
- Sophie originally seemed to be a lesbian LI for Kate, but despite all the coffee shop dates, etc there were never any private meetings where they would go further. There was lots of talking in class and some photos and a scene where Sophie eats Kate after punishment by Karen in class ... lots of teasing but not much content for 4 years of development.
- Now (due to the aphrodisiac pills) Sophie is turned from a lesbian into a cock hungry bisexual who looks forward and enjoys punishment fucks by Max while Kate watches.
- The same seems to apply to all the other boys and girls in college : Relationships in college are now forbidden, the boys are neutralized, the girls are in heat for (Max') cock due to the pills.

Compare the latest developments for Kate with the original plans for Glamour :

Very sad how much DS failed compared to his original plans ...

Not only has the Max part taken over half of the game's resources but in the past year with all the villa content and now Max in college content Max has also started to dominate Kate's part of the story in such a way that there is no longer a Kate story. Probably caused by lack of creativity Max will probably fuck with all the characters in Kate's world.

Maybe DS really should just split the game :
- Pack all the Kate content into a separate Glamour game and label it abandoned or onhold.
- Pack all the Max content into a "Big Brother in College" game and continue only Max' story.
There is no benefit in implementing Max' adventures in both Max' and Kate's story.

It can be written, however, it is not possible to know if it will be cool. I had said that Kate's story is still incomplete, there aren't many renders of other characters, there isn't a focus to build on. Of course you could discard some others and make them figurants (Helen, Jane, Ruby.. that boy who has a band, that blond boy that I forgot their name), but for me it would be something that would not work (in my pov). That's why I wrote that it was hard to try to please everyone, I could have a script in hand, as I was thinking of one, even publish the third part but I have the idea in my head, but I think, I won't please so I don't want to waste my time. I have always written fictions and romances, but never eroticism, big brother was a surprise to me, because I found it all "strange" of people having a certain fetish for incest.

Yes, he gave up on continuing with BB. Some people said that he was tired and didn't want to work with BB anymore, but then, due to a lot of pressure from his public, he ended up deciding to write a new story. I don't know how many patreons were supporting him, but I remember it was a little below average, maybe 400 supporters, it was then that he was pressured to create an MC story, that made him late, had several delays in Kate's story, I don't understand what made him do that, on the other hand, I don't know if I would have done the same if I were in his place. I say this because the fear of you creating something and people not liking it is huge, you feel like you wasted your time.

Is it only me who thinks that DS makes 3 same pictures of the same pose just different angles and call it content? Biggest yet my ass, even divided into parts it'd be a nothing burger. Knowing that game has no animation and it's 3d modelled, you'd think content would be flowing like crazy.. but no.. it's only 3 variants of the same pose over and over. There's literally no mechanics in update(no money requirement, no skill requirement, no way to fail anything) This game is just a VN, waste of Unity engine imo.
