I think just to compare how lazy and greedy DS is. At a time when DS is doing something incomprehensible and is justified by the "lack of funds from subscribers." Others are already taking quality 3D renderings to another level.

P.S. comparison, just for information:
40$ DS subscribers receive:
All previous rewards (from previous tiers)
Your name in credits (optional)
Access to hardcore scenes preview of future releases
Vote for game development plans
Get access to new version 14 days early
(don't be fooled by "early", in fact you get access when the update is ready, others get it later)
Now what does Inceton have for 25$:
Access to the latest versions of the games as soon as they are released!
Access to UNREAL ENGINE GAMES
Access to IN GAME BONUS CONTENT
Access to NSFW previews for new unreleased versions of the game
Accesss to PREMIUM WALLPAPERS
Discord access
Are we just ignoring that Inceton games has triple the patrons and therefore roughly triple the budget? And that the model in that trailer looks flat out worse than in the DAZ renders? (especially the hair)
Just like how Glamour would be better (fewer bugs, better performance, and faster development time) if it were a Renpy game, making your porn game in a fancy engine is only a positive if there's an upside. Worse looking models, more bugs, and limited playability for people without a good computer (don't kid yourself into think that thing will be optimised in the slightest. The video is jittery on the computer of a company who owns GPUs worth thousands...) are not upsides. People complain when they aren't fed content in open-world porn games every three seconds and you think adding "wandering around a street" is some brilliant addition?

Wait, I've changed my mind. "Find your house" was so titillating that I instinctively grabbed my dick upon seeing it.

don't be fooled by "early", in fact you get access when the update is ready, others get it later
What? Do you expect that early access allows you to purchase it before it's finished? Like, DS sends you a half-written version with DAZ screenshots instead of full renders? Do other devs do this? No, I didn't think so. Put your hate boner to one side and take a second to think.

This reminds me of House Party which was released in 2017/18 and until today there have been no further sexual content updates. Betting on a 3D game is not easy and I saw a guy saying the game runs at 25fps on his RTX 4060Ti. But what inceton is doing is evolutionary. But honestly? I've played so many 3D games and this one didn't pique my interest. Expect DS to do the same is kind of funny but I get the reference.

I don't know what you are talking about no sexual content being added since it was release because there was a lot of content added and " House Party " is completed.

Are you sure your talking about "House Party"?

I regret for you not understanding but I will correct myself. Does the game have content? yes, but the devs spent months and years putting cosmetic content and more quests to do. Tell me if they added more girl content? there are girls who only have one content which is in the case of Stephanie, Katherine and Rachel. They added the "explicit content" that would be cinematic scenes, was it good? yes, they also added the threesome with some characters, was it good? yes, they added dlcs of real characters and that there were people who had problems with censorship. Well, since you wanted to refer or rather call me a liar, is there, but was there more content after that? as I said and as far as I know, the characters I mentioned only have one or two sexual and repetitive interactions in Rachel's case not. Brittany if I don't remember doesn't have content in story mode only in DLC like Vicky, but Vicky has content in story mode. Anyway, I'm talking about House Party. If you want to call me a liar, feel free.

Not trying to call you a liar its just you said no sexual content was added since the game launched and there was sexual content added in many updates.
Almost if not all the girls have at least 1 scene of sexual content that was added over many different updates.
I stopped playing right after the sex scene with Vickey so for any girls added after that scene then I don't know about them.
The game launched in 2016 and got an update just 2 months ago.

I stopped playing because I hate to have to use a walkthrough just to play the game.

No problem its okay. But that's exactly what I wanted to say, for me they didn't add so much content, but a lot of non-sexual content that I consider useless. If you download the game for example, see the update they brought, you'll agree with me. You spoke the truth, most players need a walkthrough to get a scene with character X or use console cheats.

Yes, we will ignore it. DS also had more than 2k subscribers, and the price was still $40. And the decrease in the number occurred precisely through the fault of the DS.

And that the model in that trailer looks flat out worse than in the DAZ renders? (especially the hair)

Yes, here I agree. But the point is that Incton is trying something new (new isn't necessarily better) while updating other games along the way. And constantly improving the quality. For comparison
6 years ago: https://f95zone.to/threads/black-white-photoshoot-inceton.5160/
now: https://f95zone.to/threads/lust-theory-v1-0-3-inceton.21005/

Hmm, I don't know what set you on fire for that kind of flame. But it seems to me that this is a misunderstanding of what I wanted to say in the post.
About "early" and "later", it's just a play on words, because for most people, "early" sounds more psychologically tempting than "as soon as the update is ready". I said what I wanted to say.

Progress Report

This post has been brewing for a long time. This is probably one of, if not the most important post in the history of this project.

There are five people in our team:

I write the game's story, dialogues and events, model the scenes, render them and combine it all into working events.

These posts and all text in the game are translated by another person.

Our designer edits the images and turns them into what you see in the game.

Our programmer works on the engine, maintains the server in working order, collects working versions of updates and provides technical support, fixing bugs as they appear.

We also have another person who tests new builds, finds bugs in older versions, and communicates with players insocial media and Reddit.

As you may have noticed, the number of our supporters on patreon has been declining in recent months and has now reached a critical level. The money has dried up to the point that not only are we earning less than we could if we were working in our respective fields, at this point we can barely pay the rent. And because of the war, some of us had to migrate to other countries, which increased our costs and made the problem even worse.

So the question is, what do we do now? We all have bills to pay, we need income. Nobody wants to give up on a project, especially after all the effort we've put into it.

For the last couple of months we have been working on releasing the game on Steam. We are very close to it and if things go well, we should release Glamor on Steam this month. Once the game is purchased, future updates to the Steam version will be free. At the same time, updates in the Steam version will lag behind the Patreon version.

We don't want to leave Patreon and this step is what we need to do to keep the game going. If the Steam release is successful, we may worry about balancing both platforms in the future.

If the financial situation does not improve, we will have no choice but to look for another job in order to survive.

We're still working on 0.58, but for obvious reasons, progress is slower than usual. Most of the images have already been rendered and we plan to release them before the end of the month.

If the release on Steam is successful, we will be able to continue working on the game and maybe even increase our productivity. Otherwise, the project will have to freeze.

PS: Personally, now that I'm working on my favorite project, I don't want to go back to my office job. That being said, I can't keep working on Glamor alone, it's too much work. The project was developed around a team from the ground up, it's not something one person can do.

So, plan B. If Glamor isn't profitable enough to keep our team going, I'll be working alone on something new. I have some ideas and I can show them to you if Glamor meets its untimely demise. Graphic style, setting, gameplay and many other aspects of the new project will be radically different from Glamour.

Progress report

This post has been a long time coming. It's probably one of, if not the most important post in the history of this project.
Our team has five people:
I write the game's story, dialogues and events, model scenes, render them, and combine it all into working events.
Another person translates these posts and all text in the game.
Our designer edits the images and turns them into what you see in the game.
Our programmer works on the engine, keeps the server going, builds working versions of the updates, and provides technical support by fixing the bugs as they crop up.
We also have one more person who tests new builds, finds bugs in the old versions, and talks to the players in social media and reddit.

As you might have noticed, the number of our supporters on patreon has been going down in the last months and at this point it has reached a critical level. The money have dried down to the point where not only we earn less than we could if we worked in our respective fields, at this point we can barely pay our rent. And thanks to the war, some of us had to migrate to other countries, which increased our expenses, further exacerbating the problem.
So the question is what do we do now? We all have the bills to pay, we need an income. No one wants to abandon the project, especially after all the effort we've put in it.
The last couple of months we've been working on releasing the game on steam. We're pretty close and if the things go well we should release Glamour in steam this month. Once the game is bought, the future updates of the steam version will be free. That being said, the updates in the steam version will be behind the patreon version.
We don't want to leave patreon and this step is something we have to do to keep the game afloat. If the steam release is successful, we can worry about balancing both platforms in the future.
If the financial situation doesn't improve, we will have no choice but to seek other employments to stay alive.

We're still working on 0.58, but the progress is understandably slower than usual. Most of the images are already rendered, and we're planning to release it before the end of the month.
If the steam release is successful, then we'll be able to keep working on the game and maybe even increase our productivity. If not, the project will have to be frozen.

P.S.: Personally, now that I got to work on my passion project, I would rather not go back to an office job. That being said, I can't keep working on Glamour all by myself, it's far too much work. The project has been designed around a team from the ground up, it's not something that can be done by one person.

So, plan B. If Glamour stops being profitable enough to support our team, I'll work solo on something new. I have some ideas and might show it to you if Glamour meets its untimely demise. The graphical style, setting, gameplay, and many other aspects of the new project will be drastically different from Glamour.
