Can anyone help me, please? Trying to play this game has been a weird experience. (The first time I ran it, there were no images anywhere, and only after coming back here and searching for the game did I find they way to get them, on a different thread, while this one wasn't even in the search results, and none of this is mentioned on the page.)

So I was able to get the images sorted out after that, no problem, cool, time to have some fun. After playing through a week as Kate, however, I had to wonder why there wasn't much going on. I can find Julia in the shower in the morning, and I got a massage, but Julia mentioned running together in the morning on the first day, but I never seem to be able to do that. I see her outside in her running clothes, but I only have the normal talk options with her, which usually amounts to nothing. I met all of my classmates, and asked them about a job, but nothing has happened yet as far as that goes. No job and still no money.

The most concerning thing that I noticed is that none of my stats, except for arousal, are changing. I'm not sure which events are supposed to affect what, but I keep checking after watching porn, masturbating, the shower scenes, when Julia makes Kate take off her clothes, etc, because I figure those should probably change Kate's Openmindedness or Lewdness, or whatever, but everything is exactly the same as when I started. Also, after going to school for many days and always doing my homework, all of my classes are still at 0. As a side note, I also can't see the whole list of the characters because the page doesn't scroll. I skimmed the walkthrough to try to get an idea of what I should be doing, but I don't want spoilers.

Overall, this game looks pretty good and I am excited to play it, but it just has me so confused right now. Normally, I would read through the comments and see if these issues have been addressed somewhere, but there is just no way I can go through the over 600 pages this game has, but the fact that it's so popular tells me that it can't be as broken as it seems, right? So am I doing something wrong? Is there something else I'm missing that I don't know about, like the first issue with the images? I would appreciate anyone who could give me a hand here.

Check the FAQ in the OP under extras. The 0.27 client is pretty buggy on the Kate playthrough. I made some fixes that you can find a link to in the FAQ. Though, if you're playing Kate I would recommend either using the 0.25 offline client or waiting for 0.28 which should be out soon.

Also, the morning jogs haven't been implemented yet. Will probably come in a future update. You can look at the questlog for hints on what to do next if you're stuck and don't want to use the walkthrough. As for the job, keep to talking to Angela in the school every day until she tells about a job.

I like this game, but the content seems to be spread thinly between the kate and male character. I'd rather just focus on one or the other. Also, I want to ask if Eric is in the game, but don't want to start an NTR debate of something...

Sort of, but no actual presence yet, and I don't think he's actually named anything other than "Ann's Boss".

There is a conversation between Ann and Max that (currently) may lock him out of appearing, if/when he does get further development.

Wow. I really did not expect such a quick reply. Thank you very much. I meant to say before that I did read the FAQ, but I forgot to mention it. I did not see anything that looked like it would help with my problem, but I will try your suggestion, and let you know how it goes. Until then, I suppose I will look forward to the next update.

That's my fault I only had fsck 's fix listed for if you are having trouble starting a new game. I changed it to now, hopefully, be more obvious that its a general bugfix.

Also most stats don't do anything and have no bearing on the game. I added this to the FAQ

Ah, okay. That takes care of all of my concerns for now, it seems. I used fsck's patch, and I liked the fixes that I was able to notice right away. However, it added a horizontal scrollbar while I was in class, answering questions, that cut off a bit of the bottom of the page. Not a huge deal, but just thought you should know. So I just want to say thank you both very much for your help!

no problem, glad we could help. I don't think fsck plans on doing anymore fixes until .28 from what I understand.

Sleep/coffee gives you energy, porn gives you arousal, and food takes your food to max. AFAIK the class skills don't matter yet, the only "Skills" you need are provided when you need them (like massage will be trained later) all the stats grow as needed, but as far as I can tell they don't affect anything yet.

First you need to say if Online or Offline version.

and in current Version the Answer is NO. Some figure out how to Import saves into the current Version with Saveditor etc.
But I can´t give Advice for this, so please search for this there are some Advices to do this.

This will only work for Offline Saves! The Online Game don´t have saves you can access. As I know no Chance for Saveimport until DEV do so.

AFAIK the class skills don't matter yet, the only "Skills" you need are provided when you need them (like massage will be trained later) all the stats grow as needed, but as far as I can tell they don't affect anything yet.

I can't wait to see what the dancing and stripping skills will be used for.

People, I could use some help, i'm stuck in the progress quest at level 4 (yes another one)

So I have al the requierments to go to level 5 in the progress quest, yet nothing happens.
I've already done a lot of midnight chats with Nick, but nothing changes.
If you asked Julie, she says nothing about Nick ( so no option there to go to level 5)

I can't take the pills yet from special medicine.
I'm busy with the college commitee quest (finished the Adam quest up on till he gave the telephone, and I'm getting pole dancing lessons from Veronica)
Can't continue with the Alice guest, because I need Progress level 6 and the special medicine.

I've already searched the topic for any sollution/help but couldn't find anything that would help me.

So any help would be appreciated.

(PS: I'm still on version 2.5 offline because I haven't bin able to update to the current version the last couple of months)

Kate is *Not* meant to be played on 0.27(offline), DS has advised, that those who want to play Kate should play "online" or await 0.28.

Found the problem! The new version only view doesn't work in high resolution screen. when i opened the game on my 1080 i now can see the walk (24m - 7m) buttons! Hope this gets fixed in the next version.
