Here's a little glossary I made over the past couple months. It contains terms that you see often on this site but are also pretty obscure for new users. Most are game acronyms of course.
1 I excluded general internet acronyms, general porn terms or specific fetish jargon... mostly. The main exception is when it's often misunderstood like "mAlE dOmInAtIoN mEaNs ThAt MeN aRe DoMiNaTeD". I can add relevant porn, weeb or fetish terms if the masses want that.
2 About game acronyms, I tried to include the acronyms I saw the most (not the same as the most popular games) by kind of looking at if they're used outside the game's own topics or other topics by the same dev. I included some names that are most known or only known by the acronym too. If a term isn't used for any game, it should be in yellow in the long list.
There are split lists now too. The first is for games, the second for stuff that aren't game names and a few games that are often used as tools by devs.
This is open for requests, just give a term and best of all link an example.
Yes there are terrible jokes and selection is always a bit biased, deal with it. You can always request that something's added.

MTL - machine translation, machine-translated, or to machine-translate. Usually for crap translated from Japanese, sometimes from Russian. Particularly incomprensible machine translations are called MTL poetry
netorare - originally Japanese genre linking corruption and cuckery, defined on this site as sex "designed to cause jealousy by having the romantic interest involved with someone other than the MC", the definition is even slightly disputed among fans, some define it as an LI cheating and being taken away from the MC, others also expand it to family and childhood friends or even extend it to an MC being stolen, normally defined even wider by dislikers of the genre as any third character fucking an LI. Japanese fans usually include stories with similar plots where a female MC is taken from an LI by an antagonists in the genre too. Often categorised by type (A is fully consensual cheating, B is non-consensual at first but "becomes consensual" eventually, C is completely non-consensual), perpetrator (ugly bastard, BBC) or targeted character (mom, childhood friend). So those are common questions with netorare, but the real question is, is NTR avoidable?
netorase - originally Japanese genre where the MC's LI fucks other people (sharing) with the MC's consent, of sorts, or just to the MC's liking or arousal... often with masochist vibes in Japanese works
