It's either a hairless redo of old scenes or they're shortening them with like less dialogue or something and call it shaved for funsies.
In either case it's a huge waste of time IMO, should wait until the game is done then go back and do touch ups like that

Probably some scenes that existed in the game but were removed in the last version, like the repeatable scene in the onsen to build up corruption.
