Man, I can see the doom of the game has started. Beware guys, slow peace and small updates is just the beginning, then there will be just posts about the state of the "upcoming" update, and finally... radio silence. What a shame tho, the art style felt kinda unique, although the story wasn't engaging enough, that's like a secondary thing when we talk about porn games.
But since I'm not a patreon and I pay no money, I won't whine about it and I'll just move on to the next game.

Me too. Although I don't remember the last time I checked this game, probably 2 years ago, the decline of the giant updates, when there were more than a hundred and twenty hours of reading about people complaining, is really pissing me off. It used to be a monthly update where we got a thousands of words, tens of millions of new pixels, the dev sacrificing his personal weekend hours of free time to really put in the work, the sweat and the code in.
Nowadays? If you get 3 events with 2000 words each and 15 new 1080p images, you are lucky! The Dev doesn't even work on it full time. You are right, Rakssu, there's definitely been a decline, you can see it in the change-log how unsteady the regular, monthly supply of updates with 2-5 events has been!

given his income to cost of living ratio, I would say there is absolutely zero reason for him to do anything more than he does right now.
Its less about blaming the dev IMO, and more about people not putting any value in their own income or money. If they did this dev would be having to work a lot harder for the same income level.
It is part of the con, eh package. It makes is sound like if you financially support this scammer, eh developer then you will have input in the making of the game. Essentially it helps to keep the illusion going so the milking can continue...
By forcing you to sit thru the time wasting transitions and harder to navigate it makes the game seem longer than it is, sort of an optical illusion so the developer can do even less work.

you'll get many different answers. For me, just take a look at the beginning date for this thread. This game has progressed more slowly than a tortoise in a century race.
We are waiting almost for 4 years and still got nothing (1 sex scene). If you skip all game routine like washing, eating etc, you can finish the game for 30 minutes

Not so much wrong with the game itself, there are just a lot of people who think the update is too small.
Personally, I have no problem with it, and you can always choose to wait a few (or many) updates.

I've been told more than once I should just get over how much money I wasted on this schmuck so I wasn't going to say it, but I'm glad someone did. That is absolutely the MO of this dev and the biggest reason why I'm a non-fan. Also why he'll never get another dime from me again, and why I follow this game's progress, or non-progress if you will. I'm honestly waiting for that shoe to drop. He has you on the hook for what, almost 4 years now? Some of you just salivating support over what a great story line and how you're fans of the slow burn. I love the argument "well he has supporters so some must like it". All that argument proves is that the world is full of naïve people with an ill handle on their spending. I honestly fear this happening to you staunch supporters of this game at the hands of this guy. Not only that but where that blind support leads other new players. He'll get you right to the point where you're ready for the next episode to be your "big night" with the main LI, and he'll drop a "I've grown bored with this game" post with a preview of his "next project" and leave you all hanging. That isn't paranoia, and it isn't sour persimmons. It's a hard reality because that is EXACTLY what he did with MLS.

Yes it is free, some here think it's more important to keep on whining because the game hasn't been canceled as they expected from the start.
Not going to happen, developer has already indicated that the game will continue even with the payment problems via Patreon (he lives in Russia). I'm guessing it's eventually going to be on Steam or something.

I can't get mine to load. I click on it, and then I get a Game Not Responding message and it closes.

Do you mean the game won't start or your last save won't load?
Maybe you can try deleting the persistent file from both game folder and C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\HS-1539366243 (All files except the saves)

What video card are you using? I find some Renpy games refuse to load with intel integrated graphics.
