Well its wasnt a really good one before, now its just trash. A good example how to ruin some potential totally. And now even AI renders... the DEv claims they used only AI to "adjust" some things, well... thats just a lie, you can totally tell, the whole renders were made by AI. And why do so? Cause its cheap and minimal effort.

I checked her discord and Yukana claims that she didn't use AI to render images, she only used it to add a few details to the renders. She also says that the art might look different because of the new filter that she's using. The finger deformities are apparently the mistakes that she made while rendering, which, I admit, is relatively common.

Make of that what you will.
I post the whole message since it's quite funny:
This is a message from the team:
We would like to clarify some aspects regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in our project. The eyes in our game are not made with AI, although they may appear lifeless in the base Daz. Many other games that have "alive" eyes mostly achieve this in post-production or with expensive and rare assets.
We use AI as a helpful tool for things that would take a long time to fix. We know that some renders are not great, like the ones Monetka showed, but the worse the quality of the original render, the worse it looks. Look at relatively new renders, for example.
We don't use AI instead of Daz, nor do we make an AI-based game. It's only used alongside Photoshop and other tools as a post-production resource. It's not a miracle worker, but in many scenes, it makes hair and skin look less plastic, like in this Amber render. Something that would take a long time to re-render or retouch in Photoshop.
Someone said that Episode 2 is made with AI. That's not true. Most of the chapter is previously created content, apart from Arlette's story, which was made entirely on a new computer.
We hope this clarification helps to better understand our creative process and the use of AI in our project.

This a message from me:
It's hilarious how some people think they're so smart, pointing out flaws like they've got some kind of "technical eye" that can spot the difference between Daz modeling mistakes and AI screw-ups. These guys must have spent so much time jerking off to virtual porn that they've become self-proclaimed art critics who can tell which program was used just by looking at it. Maybe all that time spent with their hands down their pants has clouded their judgment and made it hard for them to see straight.
Yeah, AI has helped me add some texture and volume to the characters' skin, but it hasn't touched the eyes, nails, or the shape of their fingers. And the butts? Give me a break. I wish AI could magically make the perfect ass for me. In fact, I'd love for these geniuses to give me a prompt that I can just copy and paste to create the entire visual novel in 2 days.
The nerve of these people to call out these supposed "flaws" is just plain insulting. They have no idea how much I've had to learn and the work I've put in to create a unique hybrid style that only my team knows how to pull off. And guess what? I don't owe anyone an explanation. But hey, if these experts think they're so clever, maybe they can give me a prompt to feed an AI that'll spit out the DAZ DUF for me. That way, I can stop wasting my time learning Spotlight and messing around with Ghost Lights.
And seriously, the whole Chapter 2 made by AI? What a joke. I'd like to see these guys try to make an AI fan-remake using whatever prompts they pull out of their ass. Maybe then they can try to teach me a thing or two. Apparently, being a chronic masturbator makes you an expert in Daz and AI these days.
Here's a piece of advice: "When a wise man points at the moon, the idiot looks at the finger." End of story.

Another unnecessary remake which in the end only leads to everyone having to wait... To perhaps be abandoned after all. Wouldn't be the first time with remaked games...

It's kind of a trend recently that everything is remade. You wait and wait for new updates only to realize that a really outstanding game is missing 2-20 episodes because someone thought they had to start from scratch. Totally annoying.
It may be that some things make sense from the developer's point of view... But from a personally experienced gamer's point of view, it's just disgusting.

Everything would be half as bad if there were individual games with their remakes... Or if the game only had 2 episodes.
But everything that goes beyond a certain playing time should be developed beforehand or finished within the scope of what is possible and then possibly march on with an improved 2nd part.

If the developer(s) first have to polish up 5 or more episodes before continuing, either the game is no longer on the screen or there's no desire to continue

This game is an entire joke tbh. Initially the characters were the only problem (all of them besides the MC's daughter literally living up to the game's title), then the devs decided to remake the entire goddamn game with piss-poor AI imagery

Whatever. I expect this to end up on the shitpile of abandoned games eventually. Way to completely fuck up, devs!

I say this time and time again.

Finish the game first. THEN do a remake.

Remaking in the middle just makes you look like an untrustworthy Dev because 99% of the time, it goes to the Abandoned pile.

Shame.
I mean lets be honest 9 out of 10 of these kind of remakes are just to milk patreons/donators. So doing a mid development remake makes sense given how these game devs earn money sadly, this is why seeing a sensible remake and or touchup post game completion is barely ever seen. It's a shame but it is what it is.

I would say that contrary to what some said things don't really look worst, frankly what was made here seem to effectively be a prelude to the original version, where while it shows the beginning of the game it as it was, it also add a number of scenes to give context to what the Hell is the background of the MC before he got shot, it sorta properly introduce Arlette rather than have her be merely a mysterious woman in the MC's life previously, develop a bit his relationship with Paz, overall it does serve some actual good purpose.

I'll admit I would have rather the Dev add those scenes without remaking the damn game and likely pausing the development for a couple to a few years until it catch up, which overall will delay the story development to a significant degree, so its always a major annoyance to have to be faced with such delays that in most case just lead to the story being abandoned.

I do get it that she obviously has a face screaming AI filter/post processing, but at the same time I also think the added detail is pretty nice

you guys gotta accept AI will take all our jobs and humanity will be over in less than 50 years. Jerk off to Isabella and be happy :WeSmart:

you guys act like 90% of the art on this site isn't made with the same models over and over again and lose your shit with a little AI post processing. If you are annoyed with the remake part, sure, I get it, I am too

That screen shaking when there is sex scene is hella funny and cringey, oml. "Arlette Im gonna ..." and you can see render just goes up and down revealing broken textures underneath. Hahah.

And look at this render.. wth is wrong with her arse? Messed up textures of jean shorts. Look at the fingers. MC legs are super skinny and strange looking also. And she (Yukana 'Qory Gaming) dares to say that AI is only used for small details, landscapes etc. No, AI filter is literally slapped on every render it seems. View attachment 3677287
Even some of the other previews look weird, which is why I don't like AI influenced games and dropped this like a hot potato.

the game is cool, the characters are beautiful, that's the plot I lost what the people lost when they got out of the train carriage and then I finally don't understand what and where we run around the locks and what's where we do yours is not clear, it's exactly made this game a remake by the author of this game or is it one of the fans made the game using neural networks
