This was pretty good.

Technical quibbles (that I edited/consoled my way around when playing):
- Slow fade transitions without any easy way to remove them on the preferences screen is annoying
- Like someone else said earlier, the {w=0.4} delays in lines leads to accidental skips if you read fast. In general, I don't think you want to be doing autoadvancing text because lots of people will be playing with manual advancing. When I played it, I search-and-replaced them all to {w} [pause until click or preferences auto-advance, then show the rest of the line] and think it still had more or less the effect you were going for

dev forgot he was creating a game for straight player, he messed up the skip already read and put new event that needed precise info from the content from the previous build ... that's a pain in the ass and a dick move ... prety sure even in a gay game player would rant about being done like that T_T

now i'm going to google info on the sengoku period to impress a virtual character with two scene in a porn game ... (could restart the game from the beginning, and allow to skip unread content but you never know, so ... google it is ...

Ok, after going through 90% of the game i have three issues:
- if you didn't meet a girl that is required for progression you are out of luck, there is nothing in the game to point you where you need to go for them and without a walkthrought the game is unplayable. Currently there are two ways around it: 1. Check every single location at every single time block and hope for the best. 2. Check the "Small guide" section in the OP.
- the guide get's stuck when there is some prerequisite to the next step other than meeting a girl, for example Chitose got stuck after getting her 2nd book with "something needs to happen", i've finished almost everything and she was still at this stage in the guide, meanwhile all i needed to do was talk to her
- you need to be in a specific location (and sometimes a time block) to progress time, usually in your room. Clicking through navigation to get back to the room, pass the time and back to the girl is a massive waste of time and a chore.
Edit: the quiz on Japanese history was also some BS, i know it's a weeb game, but come on.

`game/scripts.rpa' has the relevant info starting from line 48,372 (Yeah there's a lot of lines, on Linux you can use less on a Terminal which reads it without problems, on Windows I've no idea, notepad//notepad++/etc will probably struggle a lot and possibly crash without being able to load the file, as they'll try to load all 88,719 lines...):

i thought the in-game walkthrough was good enough, "something need to happen" is a good way to not spoil the game while telling you to progress through the main story, reading through the text tell you where the "hard" to find girls are or the only room you need to visit to trigger the event for aa couple other, i don't think you not reading and then complicating your playthrought for no reason is something the dev is reasonably at fault of :S
the quizz is a bit ... harder than i thought it would be in a h-game but nothing impossible

It is a good way, the issue with it is that after that thing that needed to happen... well... uhh... happens, there is no indication in the guide that it did, just simply setting up a trigger that croses out that sentence in the guide after the condition is satisfied would clear this up.

As for the quizz, i just opened a wikipedia to go through most of it.

did the same for the quizz as the questions was too precise to just be anwsered by memory ^^ (it's either thought for someone doing all the event in a row or someone that have the actual knowledge i think)

if think that once the something that must happen has happenned, the sentence change to an indication of where and when the next event take place, i may be wrong or maybe there's a problem with one event that doesn't trigger the following indication once for a character, but then it's one bug and should be presented that way so the dev can look it up :S

dev is doing a good job and react from one update to the next when an error or something that isn't user friendly is pointed out, so signaling an error objectively and pointing out something (like the map that did not close T_T) is resolved in the folowing update (if the game is pointed out when it's just one sentence that doesn't trigger he can't do anything as it would stop developpement to look everything from the start to solve a problem that may not even be there T_T)

Suggestion:

"Something needs to happen" hints need to update when the something actually happens.

I was sitting on Chitose's progress because the hint kept telling me to pay attention to my hints until something happens, and my hints were pointing to Otome and Sakura's progress. But Sakura's hint said something needs to happen before I could take her on my date.

It wasn't until I had maxed out every other girl's content that I realized that the somethings in both cases had already happened.

Not completely essential, mind you, but it would be a nice QoL upgrade.
