One of the reasons why I think this game deserves more recognition is the number of choices that are presented which make each playthrough different.
There are too many VN's with a linear story and Illusions of choice and very few with truly branched pathways with choices that actually have an impact on the story and characters, which is also way more difficult to make because of all the additional scenes that need to be planned out, written and then produced which unsurprisingly takes a lot of time. I also think that a lot of people aren't used to playing such type of game either, coming from more straightforward adult VN's.
But something that I observed and think this game lacks the most is a proper business plan. Nottravis is obviously a very talented writer/developer and I respect the amount of work she puts into her game but the way this game is handled schedule and market-wise is kinda messy. It's also the main reason why I think this game doesn't grow past its niche following and while more frequent updates might not push the story forward it will draw more attention to it, so a move for a faster release schedule would be a step in the right direction in my opinion.
