Patrons feel the need to defend the developer because she(?) is a woman and they're pulling out the white knighting.

Weird place to put the question mark. It make you question the use of "she", but not the fact that she's a woman.
As for the reason why they defend her, couldn't it be simply because she deserve to be defended ?
She release something of quality, is honest in regard of her own flaws, never blamed something else than herself when a release is delayed (except this time for obvious reason), and have always suspended the pledges the instant she's out of delay. And just this last point is enough to explain why people defend her, and why they would do exactly the same if Notty was a guy.
She's earned the respect people have for her, something rare nowadays and that you clearly will never experience.

I personally don't mind "milking" Patreon developers.

God, even at milking she's bad.
It's been now around one and half year that her patrons haven't spent a dime. She froze the pledges when she had her car crash and will only restore them when the chapter 5 will be released.

But blatant lies about the progress or software development standards crosses the line for me.

What lies exactly ? Because your post clearly show that you don't have a fucking clue regarding the reason for the delay.

The fact is that she had a serious car crash that left her with small, but yet seriously impacting, physical damages. Between the pain and the meds, for more than six months she was in the impossibility to concentrate enough. But, alas, not in the impossibility to think, what leads to new ideas and all.
Then, when she was back on track, able again to works on her game, the next chapter was already seriously delayed. Therefore she talked to her patrons and, fucked for fucked, decided to implement the ideas she had when she was only able to think. All this without earning a single buck from them.

Do you want to see a picture of the car after her crash ? Do you want to see a copy of the different medical acts performed last year ?
God, why do I ask ? Even with them in front of you, I'm sure that you wouldn't change your mind, saying that it's not hers. After all, you came here and randomly thrown up your anger. All this without even have the start of a fucking clue regarding what you're talking about ; proof that you haven't even cared to read a bit of the last pages, in order to know the context. You just came to feel important and try to fill the void in your existence.

With people like you, people don't need to be white knights, they just have to despite stupidity. So, why not just STFU instead of making a fool of yourself like you did ?

Channel 5 amended. "Sillier" content removed and replaced with new content/shows.
Updated and revised/extended Annie animation at the end of the chapter to bring it more in line with animations in Chapter Five in terms of quality.

There is something weird with you guys, clearly there are a few patreons here so why are you all lying about the ping pong game? It just take a second to check it and you can read that the ping pong game is still in testing phase. There is a VR test posted to use for future chapters (4 and 5), but it has nothing to do with the ping pong game.

No, she is not in schedule, starting from 15 of July she said every 2 weeks we would have a new chapter (except one extra game I dont remember exactly when was said) so at 1 of September we should have had Chapter 4 in our hands already, but YES, she had a mistake and overwrite everything, its ok but shes not in schedule.

And btw, Chapter 2 from 30th July is almost the same than Chapter 2 recently posted, just a fix for an animation that was not seen and a few small bugfixes, that takes her A MONTH to fix. Lets hope that she has taken all that time to fixed it for future chapters too or it could be that we dont get Chapter 5 until 2024.

Wanna try to be the good guy here but seen so I dont care anymore, she just deserve it for being 2 years without releasing anything, all these chapters except 5 should be free to everyone the instant it goes up imo.

They're two different versions, which is why they're both still in the OP. The main download is the current progression of the game, the Chapter 4 download is the latest of the old versions before it started to get reworked. Up to you as to whether you decide to try them both; personally I'd suggest just starting with the current version and if you like it you can decide whether you want to try the older version or wait for the remaster to catch up.

The new CH2 is the proper remaster. The one labelled CH4 remaster is an old one.

I liked the game, but it was really short and it ended when the action just started. The game was really good so far like also the graphic. I do not think that any remaster can make it better. The only reason to download something here would be if the story continous. But that doesnt happen since 3 years so I think it will not happen in the future.
