Here we go again.
Chapter 4r is the remastered edition of the game and it include the first fourth chapters of the game.
Chapter 2rs is the remastered edition of the remastered edition of the first two chapter of the game.
There will not be a chapter 5r, since there will be the chapter 3rs, the chapter 4rs, the chapter 5rs and so on.
Yes, it is pretty confusing; I know.

Well... we're TOLD there will be further chapters, but after all this time some are losing faith. I continue to hope, but it's getting difficult.
Crazy to think that GTA6 will probably be out before this game.
are the saves from the RS version compatible with the R version ? basically, if I play until the end of chapter 2RS, can I continue in chapter 4R ?

You can, but it's not recommended. You might miss out on some stuff later on because of new triggers in the remastered code.
You mean that game that has been in development since 2014, with no playable content so far - I mean I would hope for a tighter timeline personally, but I guess if you are cool waiting 11 years for content then as long as this project is complete by 2030 you should have no issues. I am not sure that is quite the gotcha comparison you were hoping for.
You do bring up a good point about how a full team working on the flagship project for a major game studio can take a ridiculous amount of time to develop a game, whereas people expect indie devs with a team size of one working on it in their spare time to complete it immediately. We would all like the development to go a bit faster, but thank you for putting it in perspective for us.

We've been waiting and hoping for over a year now for that expected Chapter 5.
So don't expect it any time soon, IMHO.
Issa joke, homie. The weird over the top defensive reactions whenever this game is mildly criticized or made fun of are bizarre.
Less about the criticism of the game in this case and more about how you picked maybe the worst possible game for comparison to make your point. If you feel that a game should not be above criticism, I don't see why a low effort joke should be sacrosanct.
It is not about being defensive about criticism of the game, more about being annoyed by the exact same comment being made every few days.
Feel free to criticize the content of the game. That could be constructive and fun to engage with. You really aren't adding anything to the conversation by saying "boy, this game is taking a long time for an update to come out".

True. However perfect can still be good. It just takes a lot longer.
And in today's "push out the buggy garbage mess" of Triple A gaming, I'm glad that we still have indie devs striving for greatness. Even it requires patience on the part of the players.
Perfect is the enemy of done. 99% of folks who engage with your content will not even notice the 10% of stuff you grind on to meet your personal standards of "perfect".
