I'll be looking forward to see what you do with that... because I doubt you'd put that "little gem" in if you don't plan to use it in some way.
It's not so much that it's part of the game I dislike, it's that it's part of the game that it's part of the game that I end up locking myself out due to gameplay... I mean, to open most of her content you have to accept a boxing wager and as I said before, doing that is height of arrogance, idiocy or whatever you want to call it.
I totes get where you're coming from here.
You'll forgive me, I trust, if I stay a bit vague in my answer but what I would say is that, yes, the decisions made (and I wouldn't disagree that fighting the Intrepids boxing champion is not a very smart move) might block content...they don't always block paths.
Chadwick is the most complex so I'll use a more straightforward example to illustrate my point. Sarah.
Traditionally we would expect that to unlock her path we go jump through the hoops of accepting the VR invite, play games with her and romance blossoms etc. Well, perhaps. But what if you don't like VR?
Well, and in my attempt to mimic RL, there are two further pathways to romance Sarah, neither of which involve her love of gaming.
So, yep, you lose content. But as the game progresses I think that's inevitable due to the scale. But pathways...I like to think that's different. If, I know what I'm doing that is
