Weeellll. No, that's not what a SANE captain would like to see, anyway! Running a three decker in this kind of sea under full sails and studding sails? The captain of that ship has got to be totally insane! He's gonna lose a mast or capsize (and lose the whole rigging) if the wind jumps or changes direction too quick.Yeah....that's not what you want to see as the SP for sure
Dolphins already left and thanked us for the fish.Crap, I can't find dolphins! I'll settle for pegasi/unicorn hybrids then.
So long was that thank you that the towel could not even get dry. )Dolphins already left and thanked us for the fish.
He's hunting rabb...pirates!Lovely!

As for the Scarlet Pirate and her lovely dinky little corvette, being chased by that kind of monster would definitely not be fun....
Wow! You don't pull punches when it comes to the poor SP's opponents. Lord Collingwood was rightly famous for the training of his crew, and they were feared for their rates of fire and the accuracy of their gunnery. But aye. HMS Neptune would rather make mincemeat out of the poor SP's little ship. Collingwood and the Neptune are the -big- bads as far as the SP is concerned (or indeed the player is concerned).
Could we add Robert Surcouf as a main antagonist? He's hunting rabb...pirates!

*approves of this knowledge!*Wow! You don't pull punches when it comes to the poor SP's opponents. Lord Collingwood was rightly famous for the training of his crew, and they were feared for their rates of fire and the accuracy of their gunnery.
Definitely an end game boss fight.
My advice if you spot Neptune on the horizon : sail away!
Doubtful.Definitely an end game boss fight.
*bows deeply to the lady, brushing the deck with the feathers of his wide-brimmed hat**approves of this knowledge!*
Oh aye a straight up fight would be mad for her/you. Still sketching out at the mo but defo more a case of sneakiness than straight up shoot it out. Well with Collingwood at least.*bows deeply to the lady, brushing the deck with the feathers of his wide-brimmed hat*
Comes from years of naval wargaming, in fact. It's amazing how many facts you can store in the deepest recesses of your memory when you're actually playing a game!
To get back on topic, you realize of course that no pirate worth his or her salt would ever go toe to toe with a man-o-war? The cost of such a fight would never offset the losses you would have to take. So, of course pirates would have to resort to sneaky and underhanded methods when dealing with this kind of threat... I'm thinking fireships around 3am when the big bad is anchored in a "safe" harbour...
Or tipping off a Spanish fleet to wear it down? So, of course pirates would have to resort to sneaky and underhanded methods when dealing with this kind of threat... I'm thinking fireships around 3am when the big bad is anchored in a "safe" harbour...
I remember when I used to have a friend here.*whispers* don't let the others know but your currently my favourite person on here. *sage nods*
I remember when you used to have more than one here.I remember when I used to have a friend here.
That was before you complained about the champagne...I remember when I used to have a friend here.
I don't believe in coincidence!Bunnies!
*Yvonne approves*
It wasn't the champagne I complained about it was the fact people could smell it on me for days afterwards. That was before you complained about the champagne...
