Though this little slice of life is funny as hell because of its tongue-in-cheek humour, I wonder how drunk or high was Chris when she wrote that letter?
Because either the officers on the board of inquiry where all involved in this caper and wanted it swept under a rug, or she's totally blowing a raspberry at them and I don't see that ending too well for her career. At no time does she take responsibility for any of her crew's actions, which is very unlike her.

Even if the Captain of the Intrepid is a "good" man and looks after his crew, there are some things that an officer in a command position cannot let pass. So I'm really curious to learn what punishment was deemed necessary in this case.
A simple slap on the wrist is highly unlikely... Perhaps some of her crew members were grounded after this incident, hence why our MC finds the Vanny short-staffed when the adventure begins?

You had the following scenes (slight spoilers for The DeLuca Family): French kissing and groping Gracie as well as starting a fingering session. It's still light, yes, but the emotional attachment I have for the girl makes it all worthwhile

After all, it the same emotional attachment that will make Heavy Five scenes that much more intense. Wouldn't care as much for these girls if we could shag them from v0.1

I actually abandoned DA pretty early. I think it was a sleep molestation scene with the blond girl that killed it for me. I don't remember the details though (maybe it was optional?). I should totally revisit it one of these days.

Well all up to you but it is called depraved for a reason after all, so if not to your taste that is fair enough and slow burns are not really phillies thing, though he does tend to give a char the time it needs. Some do not need much time though and then he does not drag it out for no reason either.

I find it hard to understand people downloading a game off this site and being put off by sex scenes early in the game. I mean I'd rather know what's going on and get to know the characters a little bit too before getting it on but I'd much rather have a game throw sex at me too quicly than waste my time dangling carrot-pussy on a boobied stick for 6 hours.

I'm here for porn and gameplay, first and foremost, with porn as the priority. if I want good games and don't care about sex there's plenty on Steam or whatever. Depraved Awakening was very good about integrating sex and story in a way that made perfect sense. The intro of the game may have you go see a prostitute you can have sex with and it's fair if you think that's too quick but you can also decide not to sleep with her then.

I'm happy finding good story and good gameplay but I'm not necessarilly looking for that here. It's more of a cool surprise when it happens. And what makes me stick with a game even when I'm done playing it or waiting for an update.

It's really being forced that I don't like. In COBD it's fine because I have a choice to go at my pace to enjoy it.

Well, people have different preferences. For me the story and characters are priority. I don't care about the porn part without a good story and context to it. Else, I might just watch a random video for example. No need for a game.

How many games with decent 3D graphics that focus on the story and have sex scenes (or even nudity) in them can you find on Steam?
