Hey, I'm looking for some new games to work through, preferably ones with fairly heavy/complex gameplay mechanics. The ones that come to mind most are games like:

Sengoku Rance
https://f95zone.to/threads/eiyuu-senki-the-world-conquest-tenco.6055/
https://f95zone.to/threads/venus-blood-frontier-v1-08-dual-tail-ninetail.42356/
https://f95zone.to/threads/daibanchou-big-bang-age-alicesoft.6166/
https://f95zone.to/threads/koihime-...y-romance-of-the-three-kingdoms-baseson.3947/

Though I'm not purely after territory control/combat games like those, they were just the best examples I could think of. Mostly I'm jsut after complex games, so ones that aren't regular VN's (even if they have large branching paths).
Also, please no RPG Maker/WolfRPG games, there's something in my brain that just doesnt enjoy the aesthetic of them. Ditto games using those 3dcg models that have become really popular over the past couple of years.

Finally I'd prefer games with 100% english versions available, either through a fan translation project of full official release, I don't mind which.

It's too bad you disqualify RPGM, because my favorite in terms of gameplay is on that engine, doesn't play at all like a typical RPGM game and the sex stuff looks better than you might expect.

Honestly, I kind of struggle to think of games that have gameplay on par with mainstream indie games. Some of the more text-based stuff is good, like Degrees of Lewdity. SuperPowered has interesting gameplay, if very grindy and slow to get started. iNSight of you tries to do more than any other VN I've seen, to the point of having too many game mechanics by the end and the balancing isn't there yet. Lust and Power has serviceable turn-based combat. Leane 2 is a strategy-RPG with a lot going on, but I hope you like NTR.

Also, consider modding mainstream games. Crusader Kings 2, Stellaris and Rimworld for example, all have ero-mods.

I feel your pain, translated big turn based strategy or tactics like the examples you gave are indeed hard to come by, and those I do find are often terrible anyway (like, Koihime, that you mentioned, is hardly what I'd call complex gameplay).

I think your best bet are still other alicesoft games that got a proper translation, though most are classical JRPGs like Evenicle (https://f95zone.to/threads/evenicle-v1-04-alicesoft.14403/) and anything Rance (except Kichikuou, an old one: that one is actually grand strategy and in many ways a precursor to Sengoku, in case you haven't played it: https://f95zone.to/threads/rance-series-ch-1-2-remastered-ch-1-7-kichikuou-alicesoft.456/). Oh, and Mamatoto, also an old one, turn based tactics (https://f95zone.to/threads/mamatoto-a-record-of-war-alicesoft.731/).

Another one of the big ones I can think of you haven't mentioned would be Kamidori (https://f95zone.to/threads/kamidori-alchemy-meister-eushully.635/), it's a mix of shop management and turn based tactics with loads of text and story in-between. H-scenes are sparse and very vanilla and I personally didn't find the story engaging, but the gameplay is here.

There are also a lot of smaller games with interesting concepts out there. I can think of stuff like Monster Girl Bifrost (management with a dash of VN, https://f95zone.to/threads/monster-girl-club-bifrost-v1-12a-midnight-pleasure-remtairy.48518/), tentacle tower defense (TD, https://f95zone.to/threads/tentacle-tower-defense-2019-05-15-ttd-project.31522/) or the Imperial gatekeeper (basically Papers please, https://f95zone.to/threads/the-imperial-gatekeeper-v1-42-tengsten.33616/), and too many other smallish concepts floating in the internets to mention, really.

And once you stray from strategy, tactics and management there are also RPG and Sidescrollers with interesting gameplay and concepts out there. Thinking stuff by Rusimarudou like Goblin Wlaker (hack and slash, https://f95zone.to/threads/goblin-walker-rusimarudou.12318/) or Dungeon of Erotic Master (Dungeon crawler, https://f95zone.to/threads/dungeon-of-erotic-master-v1-0-rusimarudou.37740/). I feel Acid Style also deserve a mention for their side scrollers, but I think only Barrage! actually got a (rather lacking) translation (https://f95zone.to/threads/mamatoto-a-record-of-war-alicesoft.731/).

So, yeah, lots of games with actual gameplay out there. But large scale strategy and tactics with an english translation? Not so much.
