It's probably time I asked about this, the story is heating up and all. Obviously this is a video game so we can take what Carter says as true in the game universe, that these dudes are above the law and unstoppable etc. And that's fine to set the story up and get the player emotionally invested.

But that's where we really need to talk dev. What type of game is this? Is this a rape game where we have to see women abused and sexually enslaves/raped/trafficked? Because if it is, I'd like to know so I can just drop the game right now and never bother with it again. Or is it a game where that won't happen and the bad guys are going to get absolutely destroyed, and very soon? Truth be told I'm not even interested in this dragging on, it's been built to a good enough point.

So, the title of this male protagonist game is "Her little secret" the picture for the game shows multiple women, and nothing in the description addresses the game title to explain which woman in the picture is "her" or what her secret might be.

Just that is enough to push me not to download this game and go any further.

Every time I see this game come up on the updates page, for a brief moment, my brain goes, "Oh! A futa game?!" Then I look at the genre tags and quickly remember I've done this to myself before. Somehow the phrase "her little secret" just screams "she has a penis" to me.

Anyhoo! So, I finally got curious enough to come on in and read the game description to find out what her secret is, only to discover that the MC is a young inexperienced MAN looking for romance! The "her" in the title isn't even the MC of the game, and it's a game with a multitude of love interests, none of whom are, apparently, central enough to single them out in the game description. At this point, I was very perplexed.

Unless a game seriously has no real story or plot beyond "they do sexy stuff, because somebody bought a pizza," than "porn game" isn't actually a genre of story. X is just a rating. So, with an MC who sounds like basically 95% of all dating sim MC's and no idea who the "main girl" is, or even if there is one, I basically know nothing about this game, other than what specific tags it has. Both the title and the description have left me with nothing to go on as to whether I would enjoy this game or not. I have no specific reason to choose this game over any of the other games I pass by on the site. Except that I now have a growing curiosity about why the game is called Her Little Secret.

Is this "the proverbial her," like, "all women have something they won't tell you that's the key to winning their heart?"
Or is there a specific her with a specific secret? If so, what general kind of secret are we talking about?
Is she the daughter of a crime boss, or on the run from criminals?
Was she adopted and turns out to be your long lost twin sister?
Is she some kind of monster girl, like a vampire, or a werewolf, or a tax attorney?
Or is it a "secret" like, "I really wanted to say no to going to that stupid tupperware party this weekend for her bestie, because her bestie's husband drives me insane, but she does this thing with her tongue that can make me agree to anything!"
I don't have to know the secret if finding out is the point of the story, but give me some idea what kind of story it is!

So, I went to the last page of the forum, and from what I gather, Sola is probably the "her" in the title, and the secret is either something about her traumatic past, maybe the trauma itself or that her reaction to the trauma might seem atypical or unexpected, OR that she is continuing to be bullied and traumatized by some shadowey group of seemingly unstoppable scoundrels. So the game is ... a psychological melodrama / unexpected hero action/adventure?

... yeah, I still feel like I have no idea what kind of game this is, or if I would enjoy playing it.

So, I looked at some of the reviews, except, I wasn't gonna read the one that starts with "MAJOR SPOILERS" in bold red text, because if I am gonna play it, then I don't want to know THAT much about it. From reading the other reviews, what I have learned is: there's a wide variety of opinions regarding the basic writing quality, most of the tags/fetishes are optional, the plot goes in some specific direction that some people may not like, and it's a sandbox game.
So, again, I've learned basically nothing. After the title, the tags, the description, a few of the most recent comments, and the reviews, I have absolutely no idea what this game is about, what genre of story it is, or whether or not I would enjoy it. My only motivation to play this game is to find out what the heck it is and why it's called Her Little Secret.

I just wanted to point that out.
That said, I have not yet decided whether or not I'm gonna play it, but it won't be tonight. I'm exhausted.

Much appreciated for your input. But let's get one thing straight and yes its been something asked and assumed a lot. Its not the dick. She's got no dick. Secondly, let me borrowbyour quote, " Is this "the proverbial her," like, "all women have something they won't tell you that's the key to winning their heart?" This is it except them being the key to winning their heart. But there being a main LI, not all secrets are of the same magnitude. Ill go over the overview and make some improvements, thanknyou.

Was the swing tag added in this version, or has it always existed? I hadn't played the game yet, and adding a tag like that after a long time I think it will put some people off. But if that tag was already there from the beginning, I don't think it will be a problem, since everyone was aware of it.
And speaking of those tags ( swing, share, ntr...) will we see more of this in future versions?
They don't bother me, but they don't please a good portion of people either.
But, as long as the developer makes them optional, I don't think there will be too many problems. I'm just wondering if this was planned, or requested by backers, and if they'll fit the story well. I've seen many fetishes that were put on just for money and in some cases completely ruined the story, some forced, some meaningless...
