Just from the videos (even from the work already done) you can tell that this dev is on another level both in terms of work and responsibility with his release deadlines that this last komisari proved to be unreliable, his word is worthless if the probable dates or estimates have not been met since March last year.



Komisari himself acknowledges his previous mistake and continues to acknowledge the mistakes of the end of the year and the beginning of this year, as has been show.

If we put it in a timeline...

Ver 0.1.3 March 2022 (failed to meet the probable release)
December 2022 Christmas Special Content (failed to meet the probable release)
End of December/Beginning of 2023 (failed to meet the probable release)
February of 2023 (failed to meet the probable release)
March of 2023 (Place your bets...)

So for him it's safer to say he doesn't have ETA.

Yes I know that acknowledging the problem will not lead to anything, he has to show work and that is why I am very critical if he goes back to making wallpapers or anything that is not the game. (In fact this should apply to any dev who spends more time on alternative content than working on the game.)

If investors provide you funds to complete your vision and you fail to use those funds to hire people to fill the gaps where you know you fall short then you're either scamming or negligently prideful. Just storyboarding with a team and having a roadmap would solve 95% of his issues if he was being honest. Going above and beyond at the severe expense of time wouldn't be so bad if there were trusted team members or contractors who could verify his claims. Otherwise it's all a magic trick for all we know.

My most charitable interpretation is that he's a perfectionist who didn't work as hard as he should and has a perpetual cycle of adding a lot of content to justify the delay then stalling again to justify the delay and on and on and on.....

An obvious one is that he's just milking it after putting in a whole lot of work in the beginning to such a degree that it took a hit on his health. I was around for the first update. His second update was actually just removing some scenes from the first update and reworking the story. And his halloween update was unimpressive. So really he hasn't worked on the game for 3 whole years. It's clear he views this as passive income for his initial herculean effort. Don't really blame him. People haven't stopped paying him and it's not like some porn pirating forum members have a right to act righteous about anything.

If he is at all sincere (or even if he's not) my advice to Komisari is to either hire someone or get a semi well-known member in the community to stake his credibility on there being any work done. I don't think there is, but I'm sure there's some paypig he could fool.

To be honest, I never stopped believing in Komi and I still never will stop, the only thing I learned in the last few months is that someone has maaaybe a terrible time prediction & perfectionism. But at the end i'm just gonna wait and be excited when something is getting released.

Everyone who is hating Komi because of the "milking" should just gently close ya mouth tbh, if you paid money, just stop it.
If you didn't paid money, you have no weight in saying anything and just want to ignite more fury.

There are way more dishonest persons out there.

[Abandoned] tag policy is 1.5 years without update. We are 8 months away from Double [Abandoned] while the dev pretends he's going to release an update any day now achievement. This would be a record of some sort. Will we see it? Reply to be vindicated 8 months from now. Or tomorrow.

Well considering how much he is making updates are sure slow. Seriously he is making more than most people make on most jobs. It seems that if you were to put in a normal 6-8 hours of work a day it should not take that long for an update your making full time pay you should be working it. That is my only gripe for these developers making these big money.

That's all the weight you need, and "wanting" to ignite fury is just an assumption on your end.

Im still exactly where I was years ago. As long as there is no release, there is nothing. If Komisari burns out, dies, anything else horrible happens, there is no game. No amount of preview pictures changes that. The only thing we have now is a person promising over and over again that it will come soon/at date X, and nothing happening.

When a game releases an update it's good, and it deserves all the traction (also on this forum) and praise it gets. That doesn't mean when the opposite happens everyone just needs to shut up. If we can praise Komisari for his releases, we can comment on his mistakes and negligence too.

It's almost sad he makes much less money and is still happy with it, while the people behind DA and hhg literally get paid like a full time job while delivering like it's a nice little hobby to throw in the corner when it gets too boring.
