If investors provide you funds to complete your vision and you fail to use those funds to hire people to fill the gaps where you know you fall short then you're either scamming or negligently prideful. Just storyboarding with a team and having a roadmap would solve 95% of his issues if he was being honest. Going above and beyond at the severe expense of time wouldn't be so bad if there were trusted team members or contractors who could verify his claims. Otherwise it's all a magic trick for all we know.
My most charitable interpretation is that he's a perfectionist who didn't work as hard as he should and has a perpetual cycle of adding a lot of content to justify the delay then stalling again to justify the delay and on and on and on.....
An obvious one is that he's just milking it after putting in a whole lot of work in the beginning to such a degree that it took a hit on his health. I was around for the first update. His second update was actually just removing some scenes from the first update and reworking the story. And his halloween update was unimpressive. So really he hasn't worked on the game for 3 whole years. It's clear he views this as passive income for his initial herculean effort. Don't really blame him. People haven't stopped paying him and it's not like some porn pirating forum members have a right to act righteous about anything.
If he is at all sincere (or even if he's not) my advice to Komisari is to either hire someone or get a semi well-known member in the community to stake his credibility on there being any work done. I don't think there is, but I'm sure there's some paypig he could fool.
