Dude, first things first. Kudos. I don't think I could competently insult someone else in a second language. And any idiom I would use wouldn't make sense either. But Komi isn't my dad. And I really don't give a fuck if the game ever get's done. There's really only one or two games on this site that I would be legitimately disappointed to see unfinished. One is Lessons in Love, the other Ripples. Just about any other game on here is in a different tier. That's a personal opinion. Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that.
And for the record, I'm one of the people who thinks the folks shelling out money to devs without a consistent track record are crazy. I support LIL. It's the only game I support. The amount of work that dude puts in is legit, and I really like the game, so I don't mind supporting him at all.
I care about what happens to Komi (not this game) bc I'm grateful he created something that entertained me for a few hours and moreso because see a lot of myself in him. I know how much it sucks to put pressure on myself to meet a deadline and then come up short. I know what it feels like to have it be much easier to miss a second, third, or fourth deadline I set for myself once I've missed the first.
But for what it's worth? I think the most toxic influence in any procrastinator's life are the enabling influences that might chastise or berate him, but that keep funding the status quo. The best thing that ever happened to me was a consequence that nearly ruined my life. I admire people who don't have to experience real serious adversity to have their shit figured out. I wasn't one of you mofos.

Komi doesn't give a shit about what his fans and haters say, if he cared so much about the game he would be already on chapter 2 and not on chapter 1, whether toxic we're or not, he doesn't give a damn, You're just a guy who's having a hard time adjusting and thinks that a porn game dev who's been getting paid for over 3 years without showing what he promised, are in the same boat. and starts talking about deadlines and responsibility without realizing that it harms the person he is trying to defend.

No pressure, really? In every page of this thread there is at least two of you calling him a scammer and he reads everything.
Last time i saw him announcing a delay was when he said he couldn't get up from bed for what i assume was mental stress. I say that because the day before, he had a fight with a hater in this forum.
Plus there was a long discussion about how good of a life he is having in Argentina with the patreon money.
I mean over 6k dollars is a lot, but i don't know how much he gets after paying taxes and money conversion and simply i don't care. The thing i know for certain is that he invested a part of that money on improving the game and you can see it if you play the winter update, the very one that for your convenience you are ignoring the existence.
His discord is free to join, so i don't know where you saw that paywall.
Everyone should understand that game developing is actually really slow. For reference look into the history of development of Kotawa Shoujo another VN that took years to make.
I read a few pages ago that you decided to inform everyone that komi is a scammer, because you want to help people saving money, right? I am sorry Batman you are not fighting the Joker here, you are committing yourself into help people save $2-5 dollars per month. Honestly if you don't have anything to do, why are you not playing/watching a porn you actually like?

Since i have been called sus, i will be ejected from the ship soon.
Before that, i want to discuss something new for this thread, that is the recent gameplay additions.
I think Cooking and Forging feel the natural next step to have in the game, but they can become tedious if you add real time waiting or failing the minigame means losing all resources used. An idea could be having different tiers for the item( bad,good,great) so i am getting what i need no matter what. But that will triple the amount of item you need to code into the game.
However Lockpicking is more problematic in my opinion for this quote: "Lockpicking WILL be needed to progress the main story or some side stories."
I think its a waste of resources to implement a mechanic that will be used just a couple of times.
Asking to Komisari , have you thought about adding a daily chest that appears in the ruins that the player needs to lockpick?
I hope this can inspire a more healthy discussion on what the community want to see in the game, rather the same worthless fights.
I also hope to receive some response by the dev while i am in space.

Quite liked what is released so far, a bit basic on the theming of the girls (and the writing is either alright or straight up horrific, an actual crime). A bit annoying that the title card things cost xp and money, should be tied to progression, and the timer aspect of putting them to work should also be tied to the ingame time system imo.

I know that real-time waiting seems tedious, some people even mentioned that it looked like the typical Play Store game, and some thought that I would add microtransactions XD.
I will, eventually, change all the "numbers" to another kind of display.
The numbers are tied to being tedious, but at the same time, isn't it what lots of sandbox games do?
Almost all sandbox games have the typical timer, in a furnace or anything, even in different aspects of the gameplay, and you do not feel that time because you are busy doing other stuff while this initial job is completed.
That's why in HHG I'm trying to make so THERE IS lots of stuff to do.
If there is a quest to get material from the furnaces, then there WILL be other stuff to do, like leveling girls, trying to get money doing Town Requests, etc.
I believe that the problem of it looking tedious is THE DISPLAY. Seeing that the creation of an item will take "2 minutes" is infinitely more tedious than having the item have a "Creation time: Short", and a bar showing progress. Of course, it seems tedious because I made mistakes in the game design, which I plan to correct!
Same problem, if I tied stuff to the in-game system could be kinda of great to feel invested in the world but the problem is that TOO many games do it, and lots of players just SLEEP multiple times to rush money. And this is REALLY BAD.
I don't want HHG to feel like those games where you click WORK -> SLEEP -> WORK -> SLEEP to get money.

Lockpicking WILL be needed to progress, but it's also used for different other aspects of gameplay. I explain that in the Trello update.
You can use them to enter girls' bedrooms or rooms, open chests that will appear out there, and even open treasure chests that you can find via fishing, mining, and even doing Town Requests!
It WILL be needed, but you will also use the system for other kinds of stuff too!
