And i just want to remind you, that he was and still is "working" on Christmas update.... Yup, not the main update nor new chapter etc.... only Christmas update. Soooo even if he release .......Christmas update at the end of April this year, you will have to wait another 2 or 3 years for main update.

It reminds me of that one person, what was he called ? Ramams? Remmemd? Scammemd?... oh i remember now. "Redamz"

That and struggling to implement them in renpy probably. There hasn't even been a feature list introduced for 1.3 to say what mechanic changes are supposed to be in the game.

1. Patreon doesn't promise anything, it's just a donation system. So they are not concerned with who delivers anything and who doesn't, that's up to the user to decide to donate or not.

2.Patreon makes a percentage from what the devs get, so it's not in their best interest to reduce cashflow to the devs.

In other words: it's never going to happen.

The Christmas update? It's way too late for that I'd have taken the L, at this point, he's getting closer Innoxia levels in passing deadlines than regular devs, near half a year late if they even post it soon

My opinion on this dev has really soured these past weeks. Feels like even if he somehow releases this update in one or two days as he claims, he will have forever broken people's trust in him and that he now comes across as a scummy/shady dev. Let's be real, 2+ years without any update for any active AVN dev, is not acceptable and should not be condoned like from what I've seen on his itch.io page, especially when you collect money from backers all the while this happens. Now, from what I understand this is also a christmas update and not the actual main update that everyone actually wants. If so, that's bizarre to me, why would he release this now instead of focusing his efforts on releasing the main update as quickly as possible and save the christmas update for you know... christmas.

Anyways, sorry about the mini-rant. Just felt like I had to vent out my opinion on this dev and this whole situation.

Because since the beginning of this joke, the christmas update was a headlong rush to hide the fact that the dev is incompetent and delusional, and cannot reach any of his objectives. Today, the christmas update is probably do-able in a few days, while the real update probably still is at least 1 year of work ahead. It is his only way to really prove that he is still working, even if it means delaying the real update even further.

There is no "big update." Komisari was just talking crap and making "sneak peeks" to feign that he's working. When in truth he did nothing all this time. The Christmas update will come out I'm sure. Maybe in a month or so and all his fans will stick around anyway. Thinking they pwned the haters.
