Looking into a game to make character model/renders for projects easier

would you recommend this or HS1, or another illusion soft game (preferred free here on F95)

I know HS1 at this point is more or less fully translated, how far along is this one?

And on what awsner, any recommended setup, I am looking for a more anime-styled thing, but would like mod support/a variety of mods without much hassle to add variety.

I've heard about Kokatsu, but don't know the differences between it and Party, along with that, the mod page on the Kokatsu page in F95 has just dissapeared.

Well, if you want something more anime-themed, you'll want Koikatsu, yes.
As for the difference between that and Party? Well, Party is it's western localization. They are more or less the same game, with the only difference being that when it comes to party, certain changes had to be made to keep it from getting yeeted off Steam. The first change being the removal of one H-scene and the other being the story mode being moved to a patch you have to download off Illusion's homepage.

Well okay, but any recomendation on my needs on the modding/ease of setup front?

I'm not planning on doing anything in VR in the near future, so that isn't a problem for me, but I would like to know where the Koikatsu mod link is, or if there is a new thread for koikatsu in F95.etc

Also should I download the english patched/modded version of Koikatsu on this site, or download the Party Repack linked in that thread, are there any differecnes in modding.etc?

Correct, the torrent automatically includes the massive sideloader modpack, which is mostly studio stuff. The other links may not, usually due to a download size limit that either forces files over a certain size to become premium only or that don't allow files over a certain size at all.

2. Occasionally, mostly gravure photoshoots of custom characters, but I am working on full scenes with animation and all that when I have some time.

3. None except the ones that come with Better Repack.

4. As I said in 2, I am working on it. Animation is proving a little more tricky than static posing to get right.

So, I have an informal poll, just because I am truly curious.

What do you all generally do with Honey Select 2? Do you mainly :

1) Play the main game, and just swap out different characters for fun?

2) Mostly create your own scenes in the Studio?

3) Download other peoples scenes and view them?

4) Make your own scenes and animate them?

I am just curious. I haven't really explored the studio much, and I was just wondering if most people just stick with the main game, or most of you all are using the studio to make scenes?

1. and 4. for me. I don't have the slightest idea on how to mod the game, let alone use the studio thingy.
Got introduced to this site barely a few months ago.
The closest I am getting to figuring how to activate the mods is that there is a thing in the Init launcher that said "update" and something about mods. It started a lengthy process of downloading and updating 30 or so gb of something, so I guess it's doing something?

If you want anime style, Koikatsu is a better option. As for the setup, the Better Repack version seems to work just fine as provided. I've been toying around with renders on both this and Koikatsu and it does pretty well.

I think this is a DAZ-studio render. Those images can take up to 30 minutes to render, depending on settings.

Idk man ive been doing this for a bit...kinda popen out of the bushes now since i got ahold of studioneov2....that render is def possible.. none blender/daz stuff. stuff is badass TK17 12years

Hi guys. I am sorry but I am here to ask for help again. I put quite a lot of effort in a studio scene... but now I am unable to load it. It crashes every time when it's loading.

The last time I used it was today. I changed the screen effects, I added bloom and I think that's all. I saved and to be sure everything was ok I loaded it during the session a few times (I suspect the screen effects are buggy, with some other map that didn't load I messed with the screen effects too).

I really took time to think about this one, I am very screw now that I lost it. I wonder, do you know if there is some way to get into it and modify it to see if I can recover it?

I'll upload the map, you can try and tell me if you can make it work too.

Hey Guys Ive done alot and i mean "only" personal research when it comes to Animation. I dont have frineds thats do this stuff but...w/e SO im curious just reading on here today that a big hype was a about a possible new HS2 or 3 game thats cool and all.Im really curious to the {AI -Forget this noise- R9 repack} I read over the past 4 pages. Great to know that it is a bummer just check all boxes "Towards KK manger_Topic" downloads and some be faulty...Good words for people in the google search to find like myself. !most importantly Ive noticed some graphical Issues with Hdr and id say 50/50 on the Rendering performances bc lets be honest...first time find install...Im dropping them all in and figuring it out later 64G Repack (StudioNeoV2/// AI_client Overhaul) but I havnt really noticed much of anything "not able for myself to figure out a new progrem which is Fking awesome btw...sorry tk17..was a great run... //Ok For the question....Is that new graphics enhancement posted i think last thursday in any all relation to AI version i got. The thing is, this is not the first time that this happens to me. The previous time was with a very simple map where almost the only thing I did was messing with the screen effects, mainly bloom but I touched more options.

It feels strange a mod could do this, I thought that the game was ready to handle that kind of stuff. When you have a conflicting mod, usually the mod doesn't appear or only appear the later one. For example, I removed a clothes mod: The clothes don't appear but I can keep using the characters who used it. They are just nude.

I only installed very simple clothing mods and in this scene there are not a lot of clothes, in fact, there's only two female characters, one of them is monocolor and I copied it many times.

And I could load the map previously, during that session.

I just don't understand. Also, if the problem is a mod conflicting, it should work differently on different computers. Other people may be able to load it. Were you able to do it?

I can't download that version as it exceeds all my download limits for MEGA and G-Drive, and I can't torrent shiz because network monitor catches those and pings it.

Are those cut-out characters or actual full characters? If it's the latter, then you simply added too many characters to one scene. I think there was a mod that had these cardboard characters, but I forgot which one. The crowded subway map has them too, for example.

Yeah, when you add a lot of characters everything lags. But I noticed that when I monocolor them, I had no lag at all.

Also, the other map that has the same problem has just 3 or 4 characters. Maybe I should upload the other map, but I think I removed it...

I mean... If it's like you say, too many characters, it doesn't make sense. My computer is perfectly capable of managing that. It's a bug or a limitation of the program, and it's inconsistent, because I could save and load it before closing the app.

It's definitely possible with the right lighting, but that is also definitely not a Honey Select 2 render.

The game IS ready to handle this kind of thing, but the user has to take care when using it. Some conflicting mods do not just not show up in Illusion games, they do cause problems. This is why Kplug has so many issues in Koikatsu, because there are a ton of mod conflicts. Clothing mods will typically not have conflicts except on the model through clipping issues.

Then you're going to have to download over several hours or even days with MEGA or Drive. They WILL keep your download queued until completed as long as that tab is open in your browser, though using MEGA Sync means you don't have to keep the browser running. That is your only option, the game is just too big for them to handle in one file for free.

DHH can be disabled in initsetting.exe.

I read the log but I don't know what to get out of it. There are some small conflicts and such, but nothing that in my opinion, could bring us here. I mean, some hair preview is missing, big deal. It's obvious that the program doesn't have the memory but I wonder if I could manage to fix it by allowing the studio to use more memory from my computer.

And based on the loading times, I'd say that the lights are the problem. I used a few of them apart from the light screen effects. Someone corrects me if I am wrong but when I add lights any scene takes more time to load. It seems to escalate faster than with characters.

I don't think I can fix it. If no one comes with a brilliant idea, I think I lost my map. As a consequence, one thing that I would recommend you is to be careful with the lights. Use as few as possible. And the f5 menu may interact with everything else to make it worse.

What I keep not understanding is why it didn't happen at first. Why I was able to use the map the way it is, save and load once and again. There were no problems until I closed the entire studio and tried to open it again.
