The information is posted a few times in this thread, they've been working on the game for 6 months or more.
Due to them having a new child, holidays, it's been slow going.

So the only scenario on that list that might apply is the first one, but seems like Domiek would have said something about it first. Would be kinda nice if mods explained the circumstance for the tag. Would clear up a lot of confusion about these kinds of things.
Wasn't In-A-Scent only put "On-Hold" like a month and a half ago? It hasn't had the tag anywhere near 6 months.

Yeah, the tag wash's there that long, so dunno.
Doesn't matter really, tag doesn't mean anything for this game.
No, third condition applies: No update for over 18 months. It sucks, but maybe the dev will get back to it someday.

That third condition doesn't apply once the on-hold tag is applied, the countdown timer restarts. Hence why the on-hold tag exists.

Oh you right. Dang can't believe it's been that long already. Man, I swear it feels like the last episode was more recent than that lol. June 2023... dang.
The timing does line up with it though. Last update was 19 months ago.

I suspect it just means that they give more weight to the 18 month rule.
TBH, I don't really believe it's truly abandoned. I think Domiek would have said something if he was hanging up the cleats. He's kind of got bigger priorities at the moment with the behbeh. If and when he can come back, he'll come back.
