I don't know if it's just me but it's not only the dodgy stuff that surrounds Erryn that puts me off her. It's the fact that she seems to be developing a unhealthy obsession with the MC, to me she gives off massive crazy vibes.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next update turns the game into a murder mystery where you have to investigate all the love interests being killed and find out it's Erryn eliminating all the competition she has for the MC's attention.

Yeah she gives off way too many red flags combined with her obsession over MC and weird remarks like it was his fault she went to prom with Ethan, like she blames him in a way as well.
Now all explanations can be innocent and she is still blind to fact Ethan is an asshole who has likely curtailed her social circles a lot on purpose. Well depending on where Nyx wants to go she can also be a heartless bitch that likes her luxury and is all about her and has happily worked with Ethan fucking up others with a weird obsession for MC and he will be way better off without her. So for the moment i will just wait and see and accept that the MC I play has feelings for her, whether those are more of the romantic kind or more those for someone that was in many ways like an older sister for him. If it was up to me though my MC would shamelessly go for Alexis or Melissa if she was an option for a serious ending.
Layla would be next option, but she will kinda clash with Alexis and Alexis ending might be kinda bitter if played Layla as well and knowing her story. Yeah for me my MC does not owe Erynn anything romantically and she will have to earn it still, even if I know my MC might disagree.

I'm always worried when this many people shit on one character this much that the dev is going to cave and change it. Just don't please... I really like Erynn so far.

Do not worry Nyx for sure has plans for Erynn and she can go all kind of ways still based on what we learn that has happened in last 5 years. Just Nyx left loads of suggestive things in game to pique or interest and create drama. now how it will end only she knows and whether we will see it same as her in the end is always open for debate. Well there are not more than one LI's in the end for nothing, for those that might not like her even when her story is told.
For me, well I know my MC has feelings for her, but since I have no idea whether she will be poison or great for him, I tend to not be able to see her as a valid LI atm.
Yeah, totally different life references... I don't understand kids these days. My twin nephews have no desire to get their licenses and just walk or take public transit everywhere. In my day if you didn't drive you never got a date, you never hung out, you had no way of getting away from your parents, no where to make out with a girl... I am younger than you and my teen years were full of much more drama than the poor MC is dealing with (though a lot of mine was self-inflicted), not something I wish to discuss in public on a porn game pirate website. LOLlol my teenage years sucked .. undoubtedly harder than most peoples .. unless i guess your an old shit like me ... in my life i've had to grow up early in life .. i was probably more adult than most when i hit 14 than kids the same age nowadays ... my maturity was most likely like a 25 -30 yr old now ... at 14 .... so i would guess thats my problem with playing a game like this .. i see how the MC is portrayed and think shit i was never like that and never met anyone like that ... this MC is such a whiny fuck .. how could any female in her right mind would want such a childish kid .. and for my thinking that way ..

This update when she said that the MC's "I do" better be his answer in three years I had alarm bells going off in my head. I had someone say nearly the exact same thing to me at about the same age... Yeah and on top she made the problem even bigger by telling him that the guy that he thought of as his father and had raised him was not his father. Now I get his Mom likely had wanted to talk about that secret way earlier in the 5 years he had been gone, but this was not the best moment. Then again she might have panicked, remember she hated that he was gone all that time. She may be older, still she also has the right to not be perfect. Those people have just too many secrets though and except for Emily and Melissa do not seem to understand the concept of friends helping eachother out.
I hope Melissa will have a good long talk with MC on his mother's behalf and her blessing. Some things might be better if they come from an independent third source that MC knows cares for him as well.

I agree 100% my main save is on the Erynn path and shes my favourite female character in the game shes a very well written character with a complex past that i cant wait to be revealed to the MC

She has not told me her plans yet and she does not have to since kind of spoilerish.

It was the mc mistake for running not Erynn,
and if you still think that's her fault you still have Alexis as platonic love too, she was very sweet trying to cheer up the mc.
Is fair for each person to judge her as they want, but you don't have the whole story yet to say she is a crazy bitch xD

In my opinion Erynn is somewhat of a crazy bitch, who only manifested these feelings towards MC after he wasnt there, and she was able to think and imagine anything that happened/ couldve happened after MC was gone. Doesnt really sound like a person you wanna get together with. Living in high castles after she cant do anything but live in those high castles.

That is one of those red flags yes and that if she felt like that she still never tried to contact him in those 5 years as far as we know. Now she actually might have without us knowing or something might have happened that explains it in a nice way for Erynn. To be sure it is not that I hate her ( I might yet change my mind after we get that information about all those secrets) , but with how long certain secrets are drawn out by dev on purpose, it does hurt with seeing her seriously as a potential LI with all those red flags for me and to love her.
Im aware, Ethan mightve blackmailed her not to reach out to MC during that time. It still wont change anything, she had a choice. She chose not to contact MC, she apparently manifested these feelings during the time MC was gone and is now happy to jump his bones AND is willing to break up with her long time BFF.
