After reading this I hope you are right and the blackmailing started sooner. Not only would it make her look better than her being to trusting for keeping Ethan around. It would probably make more sense with things like the sex tape. Yeah since we never seen Zane im starting to suspect / wonder if Zane may even be the one in charge and not Ethan. I think they are the ones that killed that person forget her name. As far as we know we just assumed the blackmail started when she started modeling from what she said. But the picture of her being worried kind of tells a different story like it's way worst than what she told us. It could of been going on for years for all we know there is really no proof on the time line other than what she said.
If it's more than 2 years would make Erynn underage. The laws would be MUCH harsher in that case, especially for CuntFace recording her having sex. That's production and distribution of CP.

Dude we are talking here about blackmail, murder etc. do you really think her being underage would stop them? Also, in the first pic Erynn was already 16 maybe even 17. As we know MC was 13 and it was his birthday, so if it his 14th birthday (this the most likely outcome, since Iris was a year ago and MC not being underage would benefit dev a lot) then as we also know 3 years difference between MC and Erynn, she is at least 16 or probably 17 already. We know Zane stuff started after MC so if it's after a year or something it could be 4 years blackmail for Erynn without being her underage. If so, she held stronger than most ngl.
But then what was first pic about? Maybe blackmail already started there and she was threatening Ethan with serious prison time?
She said things were going good but she also believed Ethan was good, so maybe Zane reeled her in for Ethan. I am not sure Zane would be in charge because all the sketchiness comes from that modelling agency which owned by Ethan's father. Though Zane being pawn in Ethan's hand possible.

No, it wouldn't stop them, I'm just saying what I did that once tried for their crimes the punishments would be MUCH harsher. Again, doubtful they would survive the first year in prison, they'd probably be executed by other inmates.
Well when I ment by blackmail I meant any form of it not just the tape that happens as that could of happened later and earlier forms of blackmail could of been going on before than if said theroy happens to be true later.

Not sure about that also. Maybe I am misremembering things but was not John mentioned they were very well protected, even police don't dare to cross them because of Ethan's father's connections. If so, poor Erynn she probably suffered too much and looks like gonna suffer some more. Also assuming their first plan will be a disaster won't be a stretch.

Not sure about the police part but it would not be a stretch. All I do remember is something on the lines Erynn said she started modeling before Ethan got involved and because his father was head of the modeling agency Ethan was made her new agent when he got involved in the business. So I would say it would safe to assume his father has some kind of protection / connections.
lol this thread the last day or so got me wanting to replay Erynn's path and probably Alexis since they are my 2 favorites. But dont know when id get around to that beyond on other AVN's I have planned to play or replay haha.

Before anything i'll say the game does treat those as facts not opinions.
This is before the "backyard incident".
Erynn is growing up and making new friends, one of them this guy named Ethan.
Ethan clearly wants something with Erynn, and tries to be around her as much as possible(this makes our MC very jealous, he thinks Ethan is stealing her).
Ethan is also a HUGE dick and likes to mess with our guy(who is a younger kid, smaller than he is).
Erynn is aware of that at least partially, as far as we know she never witnessed him getting physical with the MC, just mocking him, still yes the backyard wasn't the first time.
Backyard day.
After the MC runs off, Erynn and Ethan get into an argument and she gives him an ultimatum to stop what he's doing or she's gonna stop talking to him, he is seen leaving in an angry manner shortly after(runs into the MC and scares him off).
The MC does Ethan a big favor and cuts his relationship with Erynn, and leaves town shortly after.
After the Backyard.
Ethan does "change" his ways and starts being "nice"(he's faking of course), Erynn therefore keeps him around for awhile.
Despite that, Erynn still rebuffs his attempts to get with her and he goes back to evil mode, their friendly relationship is cut(for the most part, they still keep going to the same school and probably run into each other there, but they aren't friends anymore).
Small addendum, these last 2 are just said by Erynn and no proof is given, i think most(not to say all) things she has said while having a heart to heart with the MC have been proven true and i see no reason not to believe her... but your mileage may vary.

Somehow Ethan grabs a tape of Zane taking Erynn's V-card and uses this to blackmail her into going to prom with him(Zane scrams after this).
Erynn signs up to a modeling agency, a modeling agency that is owned by Ethan's father(failed to do your diligence idiot).
Ethan ends up becoming her agent.
Ethan and Erynn have an abusive relationship rather than professional or friendly.
Ethan uses the same sextape to force Erynn to do extra jobs for cash(for him), as of current events these seem restricted to posing and walking around rich men.
Ethan is also still not over her and still wants to bang her, promises to throw away the tape if she does that(fat chance).
Into more current events.

So, first pic cannot be related to blackmail stuff.
What was it about then? They had a very lengthily conversation which was meant to be secret and Ethan was furious. Also must be too important for Erynn because she literally threatened Ethan over it.Did Ethan grabbed a tape or did he recorded it? Iirc, he himself recorded it that means he needed an inside info about it. If Zane cameo from an another game, I don't think Nyx involve him too much. So it must be someone else?
Too many missing point or we are missing a crucial point in the storyline.
It seems there's a lack of name creativity in AVN as most characters have the same names as in other AVN anyways, the amount of times i saw a character named "Bella", "Ashley", "Katie" etc.. so not surprised there are other Zane around.
Now the questions :
- is Zane an asshole accomplice to Nathan or is he a victim (as he's on the sextape too) of Nathan the same as Erynn is.
If he's a victim it's odd the MC&gang never tried to contact that Zane guy, as he should be concerned by that blackmail stuff.
- is Nathan's father aware of how much of a piece of shit his son Nathan is ?

How Ethan obtained the tape is still a mystery and so is Zane's identity, no signs of him being a cameo from a different game, just people joking(Nyx hasn't made any "interconnected universe" with any other developers so far).
The tape seems to be of "pristine quality", Erynn clearly recognizable, good audio and everything, so whoever filmed, did so from a pretty good position, if Ethan was behind the camera he must've had info(maybe it was Zane himself who filmed and shared).
My favorite theory is that he is the surfer dude that makes a pass on Nikki, but i have nothing to back that up.
We don't know if Zane shared his tape or said "i'm taking her to this house to bang her" to Ethan.
He may have been pals with Ethan before(Ethan ended up undercut him) or a victim.
According to Erynn, Ethan's father doesn't know what he makes her do and the methods he uses.

About the sextape, apparently Erynn fears it most because its release would jeopardize the possible career as teacher she wants.
But unless i remember wrong, isn't Erynn having some "female escort" job for Nathan too ?
If that's the case she shouldn't worry much about the sextape anymore because she's then working on a job that has some blurry border with prostitution.
And regardless if Erynn went through that blurry border (that is sexual contact) for a client or not during her escort job, i doubt she would be hired as a teacher for kids anyways if people learn she was an escort.
