No u can't stop the assault, Erynn slaps Ethan, Ethan slaps Erynn, if u help her or not the assault ends here either way.
On the other hand if the MC helps her, he brings him self in far more trouble, by assaulting Ethan...not to mention he uses way more force than the situation would have warranted and yes punching Ethan is fun.
Also wouldn't u just worsen the situation if u beat up Ethan and than don't help her, imo he would be even more forcefull the next time they meet or try to push her harder
Well the MC's thoughts are something like, 'thats not the Erynn i know, i don't want to get involved in this shit'...so my guess is that he has changed his mind about them being friends.

She could have stopped this situation anytime herself thought, all she needed to fo was saying ' gtfo Ethan'.

Apparently, the only bad thing is that this second Gabi scene not happen in NOALEXISPATH, maybe the pizzaria scene is necessary.
I got the event without the pizzeria drama. I think the only prerequisite to second event with Gabi is the first time with her and not ending her path (blackmailing her, for example). But this second event is shared with Tori's event after winning the race (it is Tori's or Gabi's).
Doing Tori is just an overall bad idea, even if you don't have Gabi path open it's a skip, i saved watched the scene>reloaded.
