Games like The Last Sovereign suffer from being long-winded, not that it isn't good but in all honesty the ideal length for any porn game (as a personal taste) would be between four and six hours. Enough content to sink your teeth into without it taking forever to finish.
I get what you're saying I too want a horror porn game because I feel like it's real under-represented at the moment. Fear boner is the best boner after all.
Might wanna give Project: Overgrowth a shot, even if it is a female MC game.

For me yea..tried 4 times..had save luckily before the HJ due to seeing ppl warn about it here.
keep dying to some random chick getting a weird ending that ends in an "e" if i make another choice then i die with some weird ending that ends in an "f".

Thanks, I really like the game, VN or not. Didn't know if it is going to end, It is a little grindy. Opened the new house, Fixed the electricity in the tunnel, Got the Gloves, saw the Blue demon girl for fantasy dream tease, then she showed up the next day. No HJ yet, just a little Sister voyeur, and that seems it so far. Have 200 salvage and >100 food but I was gonna quit since it seems stalled, but if you say there is a ending I'll keep at it.

After playing it, I got to say that while I still like the game, everything was all good until the "animated" scenes started appearing. They are like 3 frames, go on for too long and you cant skip them, and the scene with the little sister in the classroom gets stuck most of the times. Also the story is turning weird as all fucks, however this I dont really mind much, but thos "animations" need fixing.
Animations getting stuck in HJ scene - actually the game is crashing but the exception display screen never shows. There is, however, a traceback and log in the main folder which says:
NameError: name 'lasismem' is not defined
Perhaps some guru here can fix and upload a patched Hie.rpy

That hiehie scene is happening before you meet layla? Once you meet Layla, it sets that missing variable.
Are you using an old save or a new save?
Edited.. it's a layla event in the children's park that follows eli's event. Gimme a minute to track down the triggers.
Ok.. found it.. it must be after 14 days and you must have more than 100 food in the inventory. Visit Zombie Town and this triggers.
If nothing else, use console and type in lasismem = x
x = (any number between 0 and 2)

Before I find out on my own (I played this for about a half hour last night), what exactly is this "handjob" scene that is triggering crashes?

I was enjoying it - even the "breaking the 4th wall" stuff - until MC's sudden death. Can't find any other ending. WTF?
(BTW: I never encountered any problems with the handjob scene the 6 times I went through it.)
