Well if you have played the Revolution path...she very much is yes, but she has zero real privileges within the facility, certainly can't see her being able to sneak into Kane's room...but..hey, guess it is feasible....but her as White Tips? Hmm.....

I'm now thinking Kiyomi as she has experience, has pretty much free access to the entire facility (S10 rank and head of the Vipers)...and dunno...would suit her persona maybe heh. She doesn't have the Callista/DeKock connection though (assuming that whoever slipped Kane the bracelet, knew Nadia wanted it...or it was given to them by Nadia/a DeKock) which again throws a minor spanner into that line of thinking...like Alessa...why would it be her?

Another unresolved mystery that will hopefully be revealed one day.

But getting back to the revolution track, I unexpectedly liked this path. For some reason I thought there would be a bunch of people obsessed with Che Guevara and Lenin's ideas, but I saw people less radical, with a well thought out plan that also includes not allowing revolutionary chaos and collapse...At least no one is going to free all the slaves at once so that all those millions with pickaxes in their hands will go on the attack...It will be interesting to find out what their revolutionary plan is and what they think justice should be..

It's a natural part of the order imo. There will always be someone smarter, someone prepared to work harder, longer for less etc etc (to compound this..always someone taller, stronger, more attractive blah blah...there's not even any equality within the same sexes....never mind opposite sexes). The world is neither equal, fair or just. Why there will never be true equality, it simply cannot exists unless we wish to live in a post-future world like in the film Equilibrium etc...but then then, someone has to run such a system.

I find it incredibly difficult to believe, families of New Paris, the DeKoks, Some Karlsson's....will actually willingly and happily give up what they have. I just don't see it, even in fantasy stories people are not that idealistic. So is what they want to return to say, our current world (90s to 2020 say...given KG is very much 'based' in the real world and set in some not so distant future and directly references what Tess sees in the world today)...they will still be the cream of the cream, the elite, the Bezzos and Gates of the world...just with slightly less misery (and no slavery) for the rest of the masses?

Ultimately, 400BC, 800AD, 1920's...2025.....does anything actually really change?

Yeah, it sounds fantastic enough and too good to be true. But that's why I'm so insanely curious about all the details of what kind of justice from the DeKocks, Karlssons, and New Paris that would satisfy even the sinless idealist Astrid, who nevertheless understands perfectly well that without the labor of millions of miners, it's likely that neither Island4, nor Project NOAH, nor other projects for the survival of mankind, would be able to come to fruition...The miners' labor provides all the complexes, buildings and facilities (including Veronica's science labs) with precious energy, without which everything would go down the drain...Thus, if they want at least fair working conditions and pay, the Elite will surely have to give up some part of their luxurious lives and exorbitant wages...or not..

They have zero in common with the people they try to 'free', they don't have the rage and hatred of the average worker slave. And that's something that is nessesary for a proper revolution.

The parallel with the Great French Revolution works best I think - good, well-educated people started it, but they quickly lost all control and many ended up as the victims of Robespierre and co. I know Astrid is safe, but I really hope to see the heads of the rest of all these well-meaning individuals on pikes during the new Reign of Terror.

Hopefully the world will descend into anarchy and a new generation of Juliette Karlssons will rise from the former slaves, and the cycle will go on until the world finally dies from starvation.

And similarly, given how massive and special a character Veronica is to Tess (In my entire giant lore of seven connected games in my head, Veronica Karlsson is a giant figure that impacts way beyond KG), I can make the assumption that the canon ending of KG for Tess herself (not for Doms or Subs) will quite possibly involve a revolution. And by the way, I wouldn't be so sure right now that sending people on the Ark (Island4) into Earth orbit (with the prospect of exploring other planets) is a separate endings.

It's quite possible that in the future Astrid and Yvette will manage to convince Veronica of the necessity of change, and this world after the revolution will be left to live out its allotted time, becoming more just, Veronica and Cole's projects will be successfully completed, the problem of hunger will be eliminated, but the trained colonists will still go in search of new inhabited planets, because the whole Earth will still not be able to return to the state it was in before the Great Collapse..
