Because when a game is updated, files are changed, and when a mod is applied, files are also changed, and quite often those files are the same files. Mod developers need time to update their mods to compensate for changes made to a game when an update occurs.

At minimum, applying an outdated mod could easily negate changes made in the update, but it could just as easily break the game (and your saves) depending on the changes made in the mods and update.

But yeah, remains to be seen what their future plans are, I've been checking their Discord everyday and they've gone mostly silent apart from the usual good mornings and answering bug reports. We can only wait and see for the upcoming reveal.

I cannot manage to make RJ cheat working on Mac, despite using the same procedure used with 1.2.xx versions of KP

I created the Mac version (copied the www in nw app after renaming it as app.nw, added the mod patch to get rid of vortex garbage and changed folder permissions)
then I installed the mod (copied the files and manually edited the mods.txt file accordingly)
and edited RJCheatMenu.js (changed the www/mods path in app.nw/mods)

doing this the mod load, but when I recall the cheat menu I got the error message ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

any idea how to fix it?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that while both the Fast-Cutins and Image Replacer mods have been updated, the Fast-Cutins: Image Replacer Integration mod is still out of date. Is there a workaround for this?

I have now tested it and the answer is no, strangely. I thought it would be like other overlapping titles, but you don't trip the flag for "Everyone's Idol" by doing this, just the one for "Sleepy Beauty."

The weirdest part is that the red flavor text during the Receptionist Job does acknowledge that you gave your first kiss away.
