No matter how much the internet changes, certain parts of it always stay the same.
Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news for the font stuff. Trust me, I want to be able to fix that as well lol.
This might be a dumb question, but did anyone else get stuck on the second phase of the castle? I cleared out the library where you get attacked by waves of books and goblins but I can't leave.
either i downloaded the wrong files or this game likes to play with my firewall for some reason

It's been a long time since I played the DLC areas, so you'll have to forgive me if I'm wrong:
Phase 1 should be a wave area that you have to complete. I believe it's near an upper left corner of the map.
Phase 2 should be recovering Quada, so you have to find her in some area near the bottom left.
Right click the title bar gives you sizing options.
That sounds like you downloaded something weird. I can't speak for the damage mod, but the base game has no interaction with anything involving the internet.
i downloaded it from pixel drain, this time i downloaded it from mega, the game still plays with my firewall. could the damage mod be behind this?

I'm not the dev of it, so I can't speak to if it is or not.
I'd see no reason for it to do anything to the firewall though. Running it through a couple scans, it comes back largely clean. And on running it, I've never had any prompts from it for firewall changes. (That I recall.) Nor unexpected network activity, either.
If something is randomly making exceptions in your firewall, I'd advise running a virus scan on your entire system to see if that comes up with anything.
Is the "damage mod" my mod? If yes, has no interaction with the internet (obviously). But i guess you could try to run the original game just to confirm that you still get these firewall alerts even without the mod.
(And as a side note: if I ever wanted to publish a virus, then 1) the last place where I'd put it would be as an obscure mod on f95 and 2) I would have made it bypass the firewall

also, if the engine is truly behind all this, then it also does some more stuff such as not only messing with the firewall but also contacting ips, accessing cmd and trying to open non-existent desktop files...? theres also more but if you want to see it you can just go scan the game's .exe yourself.
I believe its the room on the right of the second campfire, you just need to move upwards to trigger the wave

Figured it out, my problem was that I didn't realize you can destroy the crystals as well.
I know I'm probably just stupid but I'm at the point where you go search for Quada after finding the silver crown and I have scoured the whole map and found nothing can someone please help me out here?
I've been having the same problem, and after reading the .dmp crash logs, I've found out that something to do with Data Execution Prevention is causing the issue. Disabling the DEP for the .exe solves the problem entirely.

Not natively, I don't think, but there are 3rd party programs that might work for it.
You can try "Borderless Gaming" to see if that helps. But I've never tried anything like that for this game, myself.
