alominus,

This for me is not playing:

This for me, is stuttering:

Nah mate, it doesn't run like that on my laptop. I can't remember exactly what I did to make it run better because its been over a year since I last played it, but it's nothing like that. I believe one of the things I did was force the game into a lower resolution than the game allows. It runs smooth.

You don't have to justify yourself.

I wouldn't even give that game system to my worst enemy.

Rather, I would upgrade the hardware to a 3.5 ghz i3 9250.

At least with that, I remember that I could also play a Watch Dog in medium and fluid details without stutters.
Or at least, install a graphic card. Chipsets are not the best ways to play a video game

I doubt this laptop can have the graphics upgraded. I have a desktop with an i7 but a worse graphics card than this one that I could upgrade, but I don't play games enough to make it worth it. This is the first time I've run into an issue from a porn game, though. I'll just accept it and move on, tbh.

Maybe it was like that for you, but the video I posted is a normal laptop like yours, but without a software and hardware hack.

PS: Witcher 3 was not developed on Unreal Engine, but on a proprietary graphics engine: the Red Engine.

PS2:
These are the recommended requirements to be able to develop decently on Unreal Engine:

As you can see, the minimum physical cores are 4, not 2.
I get it, I just was wondering why it ran so poorly even though it didn't look like it should. I've never played a game on an unreal engine and I'm willing to bet my desktop, even with its 4 cores, wouldn't be able to run this game any better. It'd most likely be worse. This laptop's graphics card is marginally better that the desktop's. Believe it or not, with the same modifications I run witcher 3 better on this laptop than my desktop. that one DOES drop to like 10 fps and stutters.

HP Notebook with i3-5005U CPU @ 2 GHz
Its got an integrated graphics card - Intel HD 5500
8 GB ram.
Windows 10 home.

It's not going to run a modern game, but I've played games like mass effect 3, the witcher 3 (with ultra low graphics) and dragon age inquisition, so I don't really understand why a game like this one, that doesn't look great to begin with, can't be run even on the lowest settings.
Like you already indicated, it does not necessarily have to do with how demanding the game is specs-wise, its more to do with what engine the game is running plus how its using said engine.

Unfortunately, 9 times out of 10, these performance issues (as well as other issues) are not present if you're using a discrete graphics card.
But when it comes to integrated GPU's, Intel Integrated Graphics are notorious for having issues in games.

I understand you're on a laptop and an upgrade may not be possible, but trust me, getting better hardware if you can, will make you a much happier gamer.
Your CPU is also low spec, although that shouldnt be causing any issues.
I'd bet money that this issue you described is solved with a graphics card upgrade.

And if you're wondering why I'm saying all that, here's why:
Your CPU has an integrated GPU, the one you're gaming on.
Imagine that there's a relatively heavy load on the CPU. Now imagine that there's also a heavy load on the GPU.
But both the CPU and GPU are on the same package.
This effectively means that when considering thermals, the CPU has to take into account the overall thermals, not just the CPU cores, but also the GPU part of it as well.

So, to sum up: Heavy load on both CPU and GPU means that your CPU will throttle sooner, boost less, and this means less CPU performance. This is in addition to the already poor performance of the Intel HD 5500.

If you werent gaming on a laptop, and were using the desktop equivalent with decent cooling (NOT Intel stock), I'd say that thermals wouldnt be an issue.
But chances are, you probably are losing some performance because of hitting thermal limits.

Is there any use for the fake pills you get in the medbay? Also there are still yellow outlines on Katherine when she is working out for me and Adrianna when I help her cook. Are those there for things to come or am I actually missing something?
